ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ၌ လူပေါင်း ၄ သန်းသည် ယခုချိန်ထိ အနည်းဆုံး တစ်ကြိမ် COVID-19 ကာကွယ်ဆေး ထိုးနှံထားပြီး ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ဆမ်ဒတ် တက်ခ်ဟို ဟွန်ဆန်(Samdech Techo Hun Sen) က ဇွန် ၂၈ ရက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။Koh Kong ပြည်နယ် အနောက်တောင်ပိုင်းမှ အသက် ၆၅ နှစ်အရွယ်ရှိ မသန်စွမ်းစစ်သားဟောင်း So Soy က ကာကွယ်ဆေး ထိုးနှံသည့် ၄ သန်းပြည့်မြောက်သူ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးချုပ်က ၎င်း၏ လူမှုကွန်ရက် Facebook တွင် ရေးသားခဲ့ပြီး မသန်စွမ်းစစ်သားဟောင်း So Soy အား အထူးလက်ခံရရှိသူဖြစ်ခြင်းကြောင့် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားငွေ riels ၁၀ သန်း(အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၂,၅၀၀) ပေးအပ်ချီးမြှင့်ခဲ့ကြောင်းလည်း ဝန်ကြီးချုပ်က ဆိုသည်။

“ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံကို ကာကွယ်ဆေးတွေ ထောက်ပံ့ပေးနေတဲ့အတွက် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံကို ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။အခုချိန်ထိ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ရည်မှန်ထားတဲ့ အရွယ်ရောက်သူဦးရေ ၁၀ သန်းရဲ့ ၄၀ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းကို ကာကွယ်ဆေး ထိုးနှံပေးခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။တကယ်လို့ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံက မထောက်ပံ့ဘူးဆိုရင် လူ ၂၀၀,၀၀၀ ကိုတောင် ကာကွယ်ဆေး ထိုးနှံဖို့ လုပ်နိုင်မှာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။”ဟု ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ဟွန်ဆန်က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံသည် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၁၀ ရက်တွင် COVID-19 ရောဂါတိုက်ဖျက်ရေး ကာကွယ်ဆေး ထိုးနှံမှု အစီအစဉ်အား စတင်ခဲ့ပြီး ပြီးခဲ့သောအပတ်တွင် Preah Sihanouk ၊ Koh Kong ၊ Kampong Speu ၊ Takeo နှင့် Svay Rieng ပြည်နယ် ၅ ခုသို့ မထိုးနှံမီ ဖနွမ်းပင်မြို့ နှင့် Kandal ပြည်နယ်တို့၌ စတင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံက ယခုချိန်ထိ အရေးပေါ်အသုံးပြုရန် ကာကွယ်ဆေးသုံးမျိုးအား ခွင့်ပြုထားခဲ့ပြီး ယင်းတို့မှာ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ Sinopharm နှင့် Sinovac ၊ ဗြိတိန်နိုင်ငံ၏ AstraZeneca ကာကွယ်ဆေးတို့ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ဇွန် ၂၈ ရက်တွင် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ၌ လူနာသစ် ၈၈၃ ဦးအား စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ပြီး လူနာပေါင်း ၄၈,၅၃၂ ဦးထိ ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း နှင့် သေဆုံးသူ ၁၆ ဦး ထပ်တိုးလာခဲ့ပြီး စုစုပေါင်း သေဆုံးသူ အရေအတွက် ၅၅၆ ဦးထိ ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနထံမှ သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

4 mln people in Cambodia receive COVID-19 vaccines so far: PM

PHNOM PENH, June 29 (Xinhua) — Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said Monday that 4 million people in the Southeast Asian country have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine so far.

So Soy, a 65-year-old disabled veteran from southwestern Koh Kong province, was the 4 millionth person to be vaccinated, Hun Sen wrote on his Facebook page, adding that he awarded the man 10 million riels (2,500 U.S. dollars) for being the special recipient.

“Thank you China for supplying vaccines to Cambodia. So far, we have vaccinated 40 percent of our 10 million targeted adult population,” Hun Sen said. “If there was no support from China, we could not have vaccines to inoculate even 200,000 people.”

Cambodia began a vaccination drive on Feb. 10, starting from capital Phnom Penh and Kandal province before expanding it to Preah Sihanouk, Koh Kong, Kampong Speu, Svay Rieng and Takeo provinces last week.

The country has three vaccines approved for emergency use so far, namely China’s Sinopharm and Sinovac and Britain’s AstraZeneca.
Cambodia confirmed 883 new cases on Monday, bringing the national caseload to 48,532, the health ministry said, adding that 16 new fatalities were reported, taking the overall death toll to 556.■
