ဖိလစ်ပိုင်နိုင်ငံ သမ္မတဟောင်း ဖာဒီနန် မားကို့စ်၏ တစ်ဦးတည်းသောသား ဖာဒီနန် မားကို့စ် ဂျူနီယာ (Ferdinand Marcos Jr) နှင့် အထက်လွှတ်တော်အမတ် ပန်ဖီလို လက်ဆန် (Panfilo Lacson) တို့သည် ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် ရွေးကောက်ပွဲတွင် သမ္မတရွေးကောက်ပွဲအတွက် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း အသိအမှတ်ပြုလက်မှတ်များကို အောက်တိုဘာ ၆ ရက်၌ စာရင်းသွင်းခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

အသက် ၆၄ နှစ်အရွယ် မားကို့စ်သည် ၎င်းဥက္ကဋ္ဌအဖြစ် တာဝန်ယူထားသည့် သက်တမ်းသုံးနှစ်သာရှိသေးသော Partido Federal ng Pilipinas ပါတီ၏ ခေါင်းဆောင်ဖြစ်သည်။

ဖိလစ်ပိုင်နိုင်ငံ Pasay City ရှိ Sofitel Harbor Garden Tent တွင် ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် မေလတွင် ပြုလုပ်မည့် သမ္မတရွေးကောက်ပွဲဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ရန် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်လောင်း အသိအမှတ်ပြုလက်မှတ် ဖြည့်စွက်ပြီးနောက် မီဒီယာအား စကားပြောကြားနေသည့် ဖာဒီနန် မားကို့စ်ဂျူနီယာအား အောက်တိုဘာ ၆ ရက်က တွေ့ရစဉ် (ဆင်ဟွာ)

မားကို့စ်သည် အသက် ၂၄ နှစ်အရွယ် ၁၉၈၁ ခုနှစ်က ၎င်း၏ဖခင် သမ္မတဖြစ်နေချိန်တွင် Ilocos Norte ပြည်နယ်၏ ဒုတိယပြည်နယ်အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူး အဖြစ် ရွေးချယ်ခြင်းခံခဲ့ရသည်။ ထို့နောက် ၂၀၁၀ ပြည့်နှစ်မှ ၂၀၁၆ ခုနှစ်အထိ အထက်လွှတ်တော်အမတ်အဖြစ် သက်တမ်းတစ်ကြိမ် မထမ်းဆောင်မီ Ilocos Norte ပြည်နယ် အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူးနှင့် ကွန်ဂရက်လွှတ်တော်အမတ်အဖြစ် အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့သည်။

၎င်းသည် ၂၀၁၆ ခုနှစ်က ဒုတိယသမ္မတလောင်းအဖြစ် ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ရှုံးနိမ့်ခဲ့သည်။အသက် ၇၃ နှစ်အရွယ် လက်ဆန်သည် ၎င်း၏ရွေးကောက်ပွဲဝင်မိတ်ဖက် အသက် ၇၃ နှစ်ရှိသော အထက်လွှတ်တော်အမတ် Vicente Sotto lll နှင့်အတူ ၎င်း၏သမ္မတလောင်းအသိအမှတ်ပြုလက်မှတ် စာရင်းသွင်းခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။

ဖိလစ်ပိုင်စစ်တက္ကသိုလ်မှ ဘွဲ့ရရှိထားသော လက်ဆန်သည် ၁၉၇၁ ခုနှစ်က ရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့သို့ ဝင်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး ဖိလစ်ပိုင် အမျိုးသားရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့ အကြီးအကဲအဖြစ် ၁၉၉၉ ခုနှစ်မှ ၂၀၀၁ ခုနှစ်အထိ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သည်။ ၎င်းသည် ၂၀၀၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် ဆီးနိုတ်လွှတ်တော်အမတ်အဖြစ် ရွေးချယ်ခြင်းခံခဲ့ရသည်။

Son of former president Marcos, Senator Lacson file candidacy for Philippine presidential election

MANILA, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) — Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the only son of former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, and Senator Panfilo Lacson filed on Wednesday their certificates of candidacy for president in the 2022 national elections.

Marcos, 64, is the standard-bearer of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, a three-year-old political party that he chairs.
Marcos was first elected vice-governor of Ilocos Norte in 1981 at 24 when his father was president. He won as governor and congressman of Ilocos Norte before serving as a senator for one term from 2010 to 2016. He also ran for the vice presidency in 2016 but failed.

Lacson, 73, submitted his certificate with his running-mate Senate President Vicente Sotto lll, also 73.
Lacson will run as the standard-bearer of Partido Reporma, a political party he chairs. Sotto, a former comedian, chairs the political party Nationalist People’s Coalition.
It will be Lacson’s second attempt to run for the presidency after his first bid in 2004.

A graduate of the Philippine Military Academy, Lacson joined the police force in 1971 and served as chief of the Philippine National Police from 1999 to 2001. He was elected to the senate in 2001.
The poll body started accepting on October 1 the candidacy certificates of politicians who plan to run in the May 2022 elections. Philippine boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao, Manila City Mayor Francisco Domagoso have also filed the certificates of candidacy so far. The poll body closes the registration on October 8.
