စက်ကြီးမှာအချင်း ၇.၆ မီတာရှိပြီး ၎င်းအား သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံတွင်ရေလွှဲစီမံကိန်းတစ်ခု၌အသုံးပြုသွားရန်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းသိရသည်။
သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံရှိ အရှည် ၂၇ ကီလိုမီတာရှိစီမံကိန်းကြီးသည် နိုင်ငံအတွင်းအရှည်ဆုံးနဲ့ အမာကျောဆုံးကျောက်သားများအားထွင်းထုဖောက်လုပ်ရသည့်ဥမင်တူးဖော်ရေးစီမံကိန်းကြီးတစ်ခုဖြစ်ကြောင်းသတင်းများကဖော်ပြကြသည်။ သီရိလင်္ကာနိုင်ငံ၌ ဆည်မြောင်းကဏ္ဍနှင့် မိုးခေါင်ရေရှားမှုအား တားဆီးရာတွင်ထိုစီမံကိန်းကအထောက်အပံ့ဖြစ်စေရန်ရည်ရွယ်ကြောင်းသိရသည်။   (Xinhua)

GLOBALink | Tunnel boring machine for export to Sri Lanka rolls off production line in China
CHANGSHA, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) — A giant tunnel-boring machine (TBM) made by a Chinese company for export to Sri Lanka rolled off the assembly line on Thursday.
The machine was developed by a branch of the China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation in Changsha.
The TBM with a diameter of 7.6 meters is about to be used in a water diversion project in Sri Lanka.
Reports say the 27-km project in Sri Lanka will be the longest hard rock tunneling project in the country.
It’s expected to help with irrigation and alleviate droughts and floods in Sri Lanka.
