မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ် ပထမနှစ်ဝက်အတွင်း နိုင်ငံတကာခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် ၆၀၀,၀၀၀ ကျော် ဝင်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း နိုင်ငံပိုင်မီဒီယာများ၏ ဇူလိုင် ၁၁ ရက် သတင်းဖော်ပြချက်အရ သိရသည်။
ယခုနှစ် ပထမနှစ်ဝက်အတွင်း အဓိကဝင်ရောက်သည့် ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်များမှာ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံနှင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံမှ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဟိုတယ်နှင့် ခရီးသွားလာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဒေါ်သက်သက်ခိုင်၏ ပြောကြားချက်အား ကိုးကား၍ သတင်း၌ ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

Myanmar welcomes 600,000 int’l tourists in H1 2024
YANGON, July 11 (Xinhua) — Myanmar received 600,000 international tourists during the first half of 2024, the official daily The Mirror reported on Thursday.
The report, citing Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Thet Thet Khine, said the majority of tourists in the first half of 2024 came from China and Thailand.
The Union Minister also said Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and partner organizations have made significant efforts to support the recovery of post-COVID tourism and the development of tourism in the ASEAN region, the report said.
In 2023, Myanmar welcomed a total of 1.28 million international tourists, and the majority of these visitors came from ASEAN member countries, China, Japan, and South Korea, the report said.
