ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ ဖနွမ်းပင်မြို့၌ နေထိုင်သူတစ်ဦးထံမှ COVID-19 အိုမီခရွန်မျိုးဗီဇကွဲ ပထမဆုံး လူအုပ်စုအတွင်းကူးစက်ပြန့်နှံ့မှုအား စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အသက် ၂၃ နှစ်အရွယ်ရှိ အမျိုးသားတစ်ဦးသည် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ Pasteur အဖွဲ့အစည်းက ဇန်နဝါရီ ၈ ရက်တွင် ပြုလုပ်သည့် PCR စစ်ဆေးမှုတစ်ခုတွင် အိုမီခရွန်မျိုးဗီဇကွဲ ကူးစက်ခံထားရသည်ကို တွေ့ရှိ အတည်ပြုကြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးဌာနက ကြေညာချက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အဆိုပါအိုမီခရွန်မျိုးဗီဇကွဲ ကူးစက်ခံထားရသည့် အမျိုးသားမှာ ဖနွမ်းပင်မြို့ ဆေးရုံတစ်ရုံ၌ ၎င်း၏ နေမကောင်းဖြစ်နေသည့် ဝမ်းကွဲညီအစ်ကိုတစ်ဦးအား ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်နေစဉ်အတွင်း ဗိုင်းရပ်စ်ပိုးအား စစ်ဆေးခဲ့ကြောင်း ၊ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၂၇ ရက်တွင် ဩစတေးလျနိုင်ငံမှ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံသို့ လာရောက်ခဲ့သော ၎င်း၏ ဆွေမျိုးသားချင်းဖြစ်သူတွင်လည်း အိုမီခရွန်မျိုးဗီဇကွဲ စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးဌာနထံမှ သိရသည်။

ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန အတွင်းဝန် နှင့် ပြောရေးဆိုခွင့်ရှိသူ Or Vandine ရောဂါပိုးစစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိသူနှစ်ဦးသည် ဖနွမ်းပင်မြို့တွင် နေရာအများအပြားအပါအဝင် Kampong Thom ၊ Siem Reap နှင့် Kampot ပြည်နယ်များ သို့သွားရောက်ခဲ့ကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ပြည်သူများ ပြုမှုဆောင်ရွက်ရမည့် အစီအမံ ၃ ခုတွင် နှာခေါင်းစည်း တပ်ဆင်ခြင်း ၊ မကြာခဏ လက်ဆေးကြောခြင်း နှင့် တစ်ဦးနှင့်တစ်ဦး ၁ ဒသမ ၅ မီတာ ခပ်ခွာခွာ နေထိုင်ခြင်းတို့ ပါဝင်ပြီး ရှောင်ကြဉ်ရမည့် သုံးခုမှာ ကျဉ်းကျပ်ပြီး ပိတ်လှောင်သည့် နေရာများကို ရှောင်ကြဉ်ရန် ၊ လူပြည့်ကျပ်နေသောနေရာများအား ရှောင်ကြဉ်ရန် နှင့် တစ်ဦးနှင့်တစ်ဦး ထိတွေ့ခြင်းတို့အား ရှောင်ကြဉ်ရန်တို့ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံရှိ ကုလသမဂ္ဂဌာနေကိုယ်စားလှယ် Li Ailan က လူအုပ်စုအတွင်း အိုမီခရွန်မျိုးဗီဇကွဲ ပြန့်နှံ့မှုကို ထိန်းချုပ်ရေးအတွက် ပြည်သူများအနေဖြင့် သတိထားကြရန် ဇန်နဝါရီ ၉ ရက်တွင် တိုက်တွန်းခဲ့သည်။

“ဒါက ကျွန်မတို့အားလုံးအတွက် နောက်ထပ် အရေးကြီးတဲ့ သတိပေးချက်အဖြစ် စတင်နေပါပြီ။ ဖြစ်နိုင်တဲ့ ရောဂါဖြစ်ပွားမှု မြင့်တက်မှုတစ်ခုအတွက် အဆင်သင့် ဖြစ်ရပါမယ်။ COVID-19 ရောဂါအန္တရာယ်ကို ကိုင်တွယ်ဖြေရှင်းတာက လူတိုင်းရဲ့ ရွေးချယ်မှု နဲ့ တာဝန်ယူမှု ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။”ဟု ၎င်းက တွစ်တာစာမျက်နှာတွင် ရေးသားခဲ့သည်။

Cambodia confirms 1st local Omicron transmission
PHNOM PENH, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) — Cambodia has reported its first community transmission of COVID-19 Omicron variant from a Phnom Penh resident, the health ministry said.
The 23-year-old man was confirmed to be infected with the Omicron variant in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test conducted by the Pasteur institute in Cambodia on Saturday, the ministry said in a statement.
The man tested for the virus while he had looked after his ill cousin at a hospital in Phnom Penh, the ministry said, adding that his cousin, who came to Cambodia from Australia on Dec. 27, had also tested positive for the Omicron variant.
The health ministry’s secretary of state and spokeswoman Or Vandine said both persons had traveled to many places in Phnom Penh and the provinces of Kampong Thom, Siem Reap and Kampot.
“This is the (first) Omicron community transmission case,” she said in the statement, urging people to continue complying with the three dos and three don’ts measures.
The three dos include wearing a face mask, washing hands regularly and maintaining physical distancing of 1.5 meters, and the three don’ts are avoiding confined and enclosed spaces, avoiding crowded spaces, and avoiding touching each other.
World Health Organization (WHO) representative to Cambodia Li Ailan on Sunday called on people to be cautious to curb the spread of Omicron variant into communities.
“It serves as another vital reminder to all of us. We must be ready for a possible surge. Managing COVID-19 risk is everyone’s choices and responsibilities,” she wrote on Twitter.
Cambodia has so far registered 151 confirmed cases of Omicron, with the latest one being the first community transmission. ■
