ကာတာနိုင်ငံ မြို့တော်ဒိုဟာ၌ ဧပြီတွင် ကျင်းပရန်စီစဉ်ထားသည့် အလှပြကျွမ်းဘားကမ္ဘာ့ဖလားပြိုင်ပွဲကို “အရှေ့အလယ်ဒေသပိုင်း၏ လက်ရှိအခြေအနေကြောင့်” ဖျက်သိမ်းလိုက်ကြောင်း ကျွမ်းဘားအားကစားဆိုင်ရာ ကမ္ဘာ့အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးအဖွဲ့ဖြစ်သည့် ကမ္ဘာ့ကျွမ်းဘားအားကစားအဖွဲ့ချုပ်က မတ် ၂၀ ရက်၌ ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။
“ဒိုဟာမြို့မှာ ဧပြီလ ၁၅ ရက်ကနေ ၁၈ ရက်အထိ ကျင်းပဖို့ စီစဉ်ထားခဲ့တဲ့ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup (ကိရိယာသုံး အလှပြကျွမ်းဘား ကမ္ဘာ့ဖလားပြိုင်ပွဲ) ကို အရေးပေါ်အွန်လိုင်းဆန္ဒမဲခံယူမှုအရနဲ့ အရှေ့အလယ်ပိုင်းဒေသရဲ့ လက်ရှိအခြေအနေကြောင့် ဖျက်သိမ်းဖို့ ကမ္ဘာ့ကျွမ်းဘားအားကစားအဖွဲ့ချုပ်ရဲ့ အမှုဆောင်ကော်မတီက ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်ကြောင်းကို ကမ္ဘာ့ကျွမ်းဘားအားကစားအဖွဲ့ချုပ်အနေနဲ့ ထုတ်ပြန်ပါတယ်” ဟု ကမ္ဘာ့ကျွမ်းဘားအားကစားအဖွဲ့ချုပ်က ကြေညာချက်တစ်စောင်တွင် ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။
“ပွဲကို ပြန်ပြီးတော့ စီစဉ်မှာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး” ဟုလည်း ၎င်းအဖွဲ့ချုပ်က ဖြည့်စွက်ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။

World Gymnastics cancels Doha World Cup due to Middle East situation
GENEVA, March 21 (Xinhua) — The artistic gymnastics World Cup scheduled to take place in Doha in April has been canceled “in light of the current situation in the Middle East,” the sport’s world governing body said on Friday.
“World Gymnastics reports that, following an urgent online vote and in light of the current situation in the Middle East, its executive committee has decided to cancel the 2026 edition of the Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup in Doha, scheduled to take place from April 15 to 18,” World Gymnastics said in a statement.
“The event will not be rescheduled,” it added.
Since the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran began, many teams had canceled their application for the competitions held in the Middle East. ■
