Tiredness, injuries big factors as title race continues in Spain

Man Utd takes big step to Europa League final
Manchester United took a significant step toward the Europa League final with a 3-0 win away to Athletic Bilbao after the host had to play for almost an hour with 10 men after defender Dani Vivian was sent off.
The scoreline changed in the 30th minute when Harry Maguire appeared in unfamiliar territory on the right wing and crossed for Casemiro to nod home.

Neymar is the ‘solution’, says new Santos boss
New Santos manager Cleber Xavier says Neymar will have a free-roaming role under his leadership as the club seeks to recover from its poor start to the season.
In his first press conference since officially replacing Pedro Caixinha, Xavier said Neymar was unlikely to return to the left wing, the position in which he rose to prominence at Barcelona.
“He played on that side [the left] at Barcelona and with the national team but now he is more suited to an attacking midfielder role,” Xavier said.

Defending champion China beat Thailand with 4-1 to sit atop in Group A to the Sudirman Cup knockout stages on Wednesday evening.
Mix doubles Feng Yanzhe and Wei Yaxin beat Teeraratsakul Pakkapon and Muenwong Phataimas 23-21, 21-11. Facing Thailand’s Wangcharoen Kantaphon in the men’s singles, Li Shifeng beat him 21-18, 17-21 and 21-13 in an 85-minute thriller.
