မြောက်ကိုရီးယားနှင့် ယုံကြည်မှု ပြန်လည်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေး၊ တင်းမာမှုများကိုလျှော့ချရေးအတွက် တစ်သမတ်တည်း အစီအမံများလုပ်ဆောင်ရန် ကတိပြုထားသည်ဟု တောင်ကိုရီးယားသမ္မတ လီဂျေမြောင်က သြဂုတ် ၁၅ ရက်၌ ပြောကြားလိုက်သည်။
“ကျွန်တော်တို့အစိုးရအနေနဲ့ မြောက်ကိုရီးယားနဲ့ တင်းမာမှုတွေကို သိသိသာသာလျှော့ချဖို့နဲ့ ယုံကြည်မှုပြန်လည်ထိန်းသိမ်းဖို့ တစ်သမတ်တည်း အစီအမံများတွေကို ပြုလုပ်သွားမှာပါ” ဟု ၁၉၁၀ ပြည့်နှစ်မှ ၁၉၄၅ ခုနှစ်အတွင်း ဂျပန်လက်အောက်ကျရောက်ခဲ့မှုမှ ကိုရီးယားကျွန်းဆွယ် ပြန်လည်လွတ်မြောက်လာသည့် နှစ် ၈၀ ပြည့် နှစ်ပတ်လည်နေ့ အထိမ်းအမှတ်မိန့်ခွန်းတွင် သမ္မတလီက ထည့်သွင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။

ပြီးခဲ့သည့် ဇွန်လအစောပိုင်းကစ၍ သမ္မတတာဝန်ကို ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သော လီဂျေမြောင်က ကာလကြာ ရှည်လွန်းပြီဖြစ်သည့် ရန်ငြိုးရန်စများမှာ ၂ နိုင်ငံလုံးမှ ပြည်သူများအတွက် မည်သည့်အကျိုးကျေးဇူးမှ ပေးမည်မဟုတ်ကြောင်း၊ ကိုရီးယားကျွန်းဆွယ်တွင် ခေတ်သစ်ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးကြိုဆိုရန်နှင့် ခေတ်နောက်ကျနေပြီဖြစ်သော စစ်အေးခေတ်ထိပ်တိုက်ရင်ဆိုင်မှုများကို ဖယ်ရှားရတော့မည့် အချိန်အခါ ရောက်လာပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း အလေးပေးပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

S. Korean president vows to take consistent measures to restore trust with DPRK
SEOUL, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) — South Korean President Lee Jae-myung on Friday vowed to take consistent measures to reduce tensions and restore trust with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
“Our government will take consistent measures to substantially reduce tensions and restore trust (with the DPRK),” Lee said in his speech to mark the 80th anniversary of the Korean Peninsula’s liberation from the 1910-45 Japanese colonial rule.
Lee, who took office in early June, said the long-drawn-out hostility will not benefit people in any of the two Koreas, stressing that now is the time to move beyond outmoded Cold War confrontation and usher in a new era of peace on the peninsula.
The South Korean leader said Seoul and Pyongyang should immediately restore trust and revive dialogue through actions.
Lee said Seoul will respect existing inter-Korean agreements, vowing to take proactive, gradual steps to restore the Sept. 19 military agreement, signed during the 2018 inter-Korean summit, to prevent accidental clashes and build military trust between the two Koreas.
He affirmed respect for the DPRK’s current system and no intention of engaging in any hostile acts with Pyongyang.
