တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ ပေကျင်းမြို့နှင့် နီးကပ်သော ထျန်းကျင်းမြို့သည် ဩဂုတ် ၃၁ ရက်မှ စက်တင်ဘာ ၁ ရက်အထိ ကျင်းပလျက်ရှိသော ရှန်ဟိုင်းပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုအဖွဲ့ (SCO) ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးကို လက်ခံကျင်းပရန် ပြင်ဆင်လျက်ရှိသည်။ အဆိုပါ အစည်းအဝေးသည် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံက SCO အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌအဖြစ် တာဝန်ယူရသည့် အလုပ်များပြားလှသော နှစ်တစ်နှစ်လည်း ဖြစ်သည်။
ထျန်းကျင်းအစည်းအဝေးသည် ဒေသတွင်းလုံခြုံရေးကိစ္စရပ်များ၊ ဒစ်ဂျစ်တယ်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်မှုနှင့် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှု စသည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များကို နက်နက်ရှိုင်းရှိုင်းဆွေးနွေးမှုများကို သက်သေပြုရန် မျှော်မှန်းထားသလို ဒေသတွင်းနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာစိန်ခေါ်မှုများကို စုပေါင်းအဖြေရှာမှုများအဖြစ် ပုံဖော်ရေးအတွက် နိုင်ငံစုံပါဝင်သော ပလက်ဖောင်းတစ်ခုအဖြစ်လည်း ၎င်း၏အခန်းကဏ္ဍကို မြှင့်တင်လျက်ရှိသည်။

(SCO Tianjin Summit) Column: A promising Egypt-SCO partnership enhances international balance and sustainable development
Tianjin, a city close to Beijing, is prepared to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1. The event will crown a busy year of China’s rotating presidency of the SCO.
The upcoming Tianjin summit is expected to witness in-depth discussions on regional security issues, digital governance and sustainable development, enhancing its role as a multilateral platform for crystallizing collective solutions to regional and international challenges.
For Egypt, the summit carries special significance. Egypt’s accession as an SCO dialogue partner marks a strategic step toward forging more balanced, diversified international partnerships, particularly with emerging countries such as China, Russia and the Central Asian states. The move also reflects the Egyptian leadership’s vision to bolster its role in a multipolar world and join organizations that uphold sovereignty and shared interests.
Today, the SCO brings together nearly half of the world’s population, about a quarter of global GDP, and vast natural and technological resources. Egypt applied in 2015 and became an SCO dialogue partner at the September 2022 Samarkand summit, underscoring its rising profile in the organization.
