လာယူနီယံပြည်နယ်၊ အာဂူးမြို့ကမ်းရိုးတန်းတွင် စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၃ ရက်က အသက် ၆၇ နှစ်အရွယ် အမျိုးသားတစ်ဦးအား သေဆုံးလျက်သား တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း PCG က အစောပိုင်း၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ အဆိုပါ အမျိုးသားမှာ စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၂ ရက်က မုန်တိုင်းတိုက်ခတ်စဉ် မြစ်အတွင်း ပြုတ်ကျပြီးနောက် ပျောက်ဆုံးကြောင်း သတင်းပို့ထားသူဖြစ်သည်။
ကုန်းတွင်းပိတ် Benguet ပြည်နယ်တွင်လည်း တူဘားမြို့ရှိ အဝေးပြေးလမ်းပေါ်တွင် ၎င်း၏ မော်တော်ယာဉ်မှာ မြေပြိုမှုအတွင်း ပိတ်မိနေခဲ့ပြီးနောက် အသက် ၇၄ နှစ်အရွယ် အမျိုးသားတစ်ဦး သေဆုံးခဲ့သည်။ အခြားကားများအတွင်းမှ ခရီးသည်များစွာလည်း ဒဏ်ရာရရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

Super typhoon Ragasa lashes Philippines, claiming 6 lives
MANILA, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) — Torrential rains and tree-snapping winds from super typhoon Ragasa have battered the northern Philippines over recent days, triggering floods, deadly landslides, and widespread destruction across the archipelago.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Wednesday reported that four bodies were recovered from a fishing boat that capsized off the coast of Cagayan province, bringing the total death toll from Ragasa to six.
Six survivors have been rescued, while the search continues for three others still missing, the PCG said.
Earlier, the PCG said a 67-year-old man was found dead along the shoreline of Agoo town in La Union province on Tuesday. The victim had been reported missing after falling into a river during the storm on Monday.
In landlocked Benguet province, a 74-year-old man died after a landslide struck his vehicle along a highway in Tuba town. Several passengers from other cars were injured.
Dubbed the “King of Storms,” Ragasa made landfall with howling winds and relentless rain, inundating many parts of northern Luzon. Some communities were submerged, homes were destroyed, and key roads were rendered impassable due to flooding and debris.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said late Tuesday that Ragasa and the southwest monsoon have affected around 54,000 families, or 192,000 people, across 950 villages around the country.
Although Ragasa exited the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday, authorities are closely monitoring a new weather disturbance, tropical storm Bualoi.
The country’s state weather bureau, PAGASA, said Bualoi was moving west-southwestward at 20 km per hour with maximum winds of 65 km per hour and gusts of up to 80 km per hour. Bualoi is expected to intensify and could reach the severe tropical storm category by Thursday evening.
The bureau also warned of potential coastal flooding due to storm surges in low-lying areas of the central Philippines, urging residents to remain vigilant.
