မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံ၏သံမဏိလုပ်ငန်းကို ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲရန်၊ ပြန်လည်ဖွဲ့စည်းရန်နှင့်တည်ငြိမ်စေရန် အဆင့်ဆင့်လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်လမ်းကြောင်း ပံ့ပိုးပေးနိုင်ရေးအတွက် မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံ၌ သံမဏိလုပ်ငန်းလမ်းပြမြေပုံ ၂၀၃၅ (SIR2035) ကို ရေးဆွဲဖော်ထုတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း နိုင်ငံ၏ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှု၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေးနှင့် စက်မှုလုပ်ငန်းဝန်ကြီး Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz က စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၈ ရက်၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Malaysia launches Steel Industry Roadmap 2035
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) — Malaysia has formulated the Steel Industry Roadmap 2035 (SIR2035) to provide a sequential pathway to stabilize, restructure, and transform Malaysia’s steel industry, its Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz said here on Monday.
The minister unveiled the roadmap in a SEAISI forum, saying the move is in line with the nation’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030, the National Energy Transition Roadmap, and its net zero aspirations by 2050.
According to him, SIR2035 outlines 15 main strategies across three phases. In the immediate term (the next two years), the focus is on stabilization: managing overcapacity, restructuring licensing frameworks, enforcing discipline against illegal operators, securing domestic raw materials, and laying foundations for decarbonization.
From 2027 to 2035, the roadmap shifts to transformation: accelerating carbon mechanisms, developing low-carbon production infrastructure and standards, and reinvesting in new technologies to build capabilities, he noted.
“Beyond 2035, the aim is a fully green steel sector by 2050, mobilizing talent and capital to keep Malaysia’s steel industry competitive, resilient, and aligned with Net Zero commitments,” he added.
