BASIC SUMMARY:

Supports requests for new content development and publishing on ncl.com. Working under the direction from the Ecommerce Content Manger and using ncl.com brand style guide principles, the Content Development Specialist will use his/her high-knowledge of website usability & design and copy/image-editing skills to satisfy the content production needs associated with merchandising and supporting new programs/services on ncl.com.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports content workflow process and execution of content initiatives for ncl.com. Interacts and collaborates with staff from various departments as well as creative agencies in order to coordinate the creation and placement of all web content and merchandising. Researches, plans, solicitsand writes content for brand web sites, clearing rights as needed. Edits and proofreads content received from internal and external providers. Prepares images to be posted to the Web sites.

Develops and maintains schedule of content activity to ensure site accuracy, appropriateness and relevancy.

Maintains, and evolves a consistent creative identity for the web sites that can be used as a model for all ongoing content development.
