စွမ်းအင်ကုမ္ပဏီကြီးဖြစ်သည့် British Petroleum (BP) က လာမည့်သုံးနှစ်အတွင်း ၎င်းတို့၏ စီးပွားဖက်များနှင့် အတူ အီဂျစ်နိုင်ငံ၌ အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၃.၅ ဘီလီယံ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံသွားမည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အီဂျစ်သမ္မတရုံးက ဩဂုတ် ၂၈ ရက် ကြေညာချက်တွင် ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

ယင်းကြေညာချက်သည် အီဂျစ်နိုင်ငံ သမ္မတ Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi နှင့် BP ကုမ္ပဏီ၏ CEO ဖြစ်သူ Bernard Looney တို့အကြား တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပြီးနောက် ပေါ်ပေါက်လာခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။

British Petroleum to invest 3.5 bln USD in Egypt in 3 years
The energy giant British Petroleum (BP) will invest 3.5 billion U.S. dollars in Egypt along with its partners in the next three years, the Egyptian presidency said in a statement on Monday.
The announcement came after a meeting between Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and BP’s CEO Bernard Looney.
Looney said the investments would cover areas of research, exploration, and development.
The Egyptian president hailed the British company’s expanding operations and investments in Egypt as well as its contribution to the exploration and production of gas and oil.
