Offshore wind turbines in China’s Guangdong resist typhoon
Along the coast of south China’s Guangdong Province, China’s self-developed offshore wind turbines continued to operate during Typhoon Saola, which made landfall in the city of Zhuhai at 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 2, with maximum wind speeds of 42 to 46 meters per second near its eye.
