ဇူလိုင် ၂၈ ရက် ညသန်းခေါင်ယံ၌ အပစ်အခတ်ရပ်စဲမှု စတင်အသက်ဝင်လာပြီးနောက် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား-ထိုင်း နယ်စပ်အခြေအနေ‌ ပြေလျော့သွားပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ဟွန်မန်နက်က ဇူလိုင် ၂၉ ရက် နံနက်ပိုင်းက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
“မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံမှာ ပြုလုပ်တဲ့ အထူးအစည်းအဝေးမှာ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံနဲ့ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံတို့အကြား ရရှိခဲ့တဲ့ သဘောတူညီချက် စိတ်ဓာတ်နဲ့အညီ ဇူလိုင် ၂၈ ရက် ညသန်းခေါင်မှာ အပစ်အခတ်ရပ်စဲမှု စတင်အသက်ဝင်လာပြီးနောက် ရှေ့တန်းစစ်မျက်နှာမှာ တင်းမာမှုတွေ ပြေလျော့သွားပါပြီ” ဟု ဟွန်မန်နက်က ၎င်း၏ တရားဝင် ဆိုရှယ်မီဒီယာ ပလက်ဖောင်းများတွင် ပို့စ်တင်ခဲ့သည်။
“တိုက်ပွဲတွေကို ပိုပြီးဆောလျင်စွာ ရပ်တန့်နိုင်ခဲ့တာကြောင့် နေရပ်စွန့်ခွာခဲ့ရတဲ့သူတွေလို ထိခိုက်ခံစားရသူတွေအနေနဲ့ သူတို့ရဲ့ နေရပ်ဌာနေကို ပိုမိုဆောလျင်စွာ ပြန်လာနိုင်ပြီး ပုံမှန်အတိုင်း ပြန်လည်နေထိုင်နိုင်တော့မှာပါ” ဟု ၎င်းက ဆိုသည်။
ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား အထက်လွှတ်တော် ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ ဆမ်ဒတ် တက်ချို ဟွန်ဆန်ကလည်း “ဒီအပစ်အခတ်ရပ်စဲမှုနဲ့ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး သဘောတူညီမှုဟာ အပြုသဘောဆောင်ပြီး ထိရောက်အကျိုးရှိတဲ့ ရလဒ်တွေကို ဖြစ်ပေါ်စေတယ်” ဟု ဇူလိုင် ၂၉ ရက် နံနက်ပိုင်းက ၎င်း၏ တရားဝင် ဆိုရှယ်မီဒီယာ ပလက်ဖောင်းများမှတစ်ဆင့် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံနှင့် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားနိုင်ငံ ခေါင်းဆောင်တို့က ဇူလိုင် ၂၈ ရက် ညသန်းခေါင်မှစ၍ အပစ်အခတ်ရပ်စဲမှု ဖော်ဆောင်ရန် သဘောတူညီခဲ့သည်ဟု မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံတွင် ဇူလိုင် ၂၈ ရက်၌ ၎င်းကိုယ်တိုင် ကမကထပြု ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် အစည်းအဝေးအပြီးတွင် မလေးရှားဝန်ကြီးချုပ် အန်ဝါ အီဘရာဟင်က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Cambodia-Thailand border situation eases: Cambodian PM
PHNOM PENH, July 29 (Xinhua) — The situation of the Cambodia-Thailand border has eased after a ceasefire took effect Monday midnight, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said on Tuesday morning.
In a post on his official social media platforms, Hun Manet said, “The frontline has eased after a ceasefire took effect from Monday midnight in accordance with the spirit of the agreement between Cambodia and Thailand at a special meeting in Malaysia.”
“A sooner cessation of hostilities will also allow affected people, such as evacuees, to return to their homes and resume normal livelihoods sooner,” he said.
“This ceasefire and peace agreement is yielding positive and effective results,” Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Tuesday morning in a post on his official social media platforms.
Thai and Cambodian leaders have agreed to implement a ceasefire starting midnight on Monday, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said following a meeting on Monday hosted by him in Malaysia.
The exchange of gunfire between Cambodian and Thai soldiers over disputed border areas began on July 24, with both sides accusing each other of violating international law.
