GLOBALink | Mexican migrants seen crossing river, seeking asylum in U.S.

Six migrants, including a baby, on friday crossed the Rio Grande river from Mexico, trying to seek asylum in the United States. The Crossing is just one of hundreds that happen every day along the border in the U.S state of Texas. But the circustance still pales in comparison to what federal, state and local officials faced in September when about 15000 Haitian migrants descended on Del Rio, Texas. Texas has been building its own boarder wall along U.S.- Mexico border in response to illegal border crossings.
