စုစုပေါင်းအရှည် ၆ ကီလိုမီတာရှိသည့် အဆိုပါဥမင်သည် အန်းဟွေးပြည်နယ်ရှိယန်ဇီမြစ်တွင် ဖောက်လုပ်သည့် ပထမဆုံး ဥမင်အမျိုးအစားလည်းဖြစ်သည်။

ဥမင်မှာ မြစ်ကြမ်းပြင်အောက် ၇၀ မီတာ တွင်တည်ရှိသည်။အဆိုပါဥမင်ကို နှစ်လမ်းမောင်း ၆ လမ်းသွားအဝေးပြေးလမ်း အဖြစ်တည်ဆောက်ထားပြီးတစ်နာရီလျှင် ၈၀ ကီလိုမီတာအမြန်နှုန်းဖြင့်မောင်းနှင်ရန်ဒီဇိုင်းထုတ်ထားသည်။

GLOBALink | New tunnel across Yangtze River being constructed in Wuhu, China
WUHU, May 1 (Xinhua) –A new tunnel across the Yangtze River is being constructed in Wuhu in China’s Anhui Province.
With a total length of about 6 km, this tunnel is the first of its kind across the Yangtze in Anhui Province.
The tunnel reaches as far as 70 meters below the bottom of the river.
The tunnel is designed to have a two-way six-lane highway with a designed speed of 80 km/h.
It’s scheduled to open to traffic at the end of 2024, which will shorten the journey between Wuhu’s new district and its main urban zone to 5 minutes by car.
