Pakistan’s Karachi swelters amid extreme heatwave
KARACHI, Pakistan, June 13 (Xinhua) — Pakistan is recently pummelled by blistering heatwave, with temperatures in the southern port city of Karachi hitting over 40 degrees Celsius.
While the muggy, nasty weather forced many locals in Karachi to take refuge in air-conditioned buildings, some cooled off from water supply leakages.
