အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံ အရှေ့ပိုင်း Odhisa ပြည်နယ်၌ ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သည့် ဆိုးရွားသည့် ရထားမတော်တဆမှုကြောင့် ဒေသခံပြည်သူများ ထိတ်လန့်တုန်လှုပ်ခဲ့သည်။ ရထားတိုက်မိမှုကြောင့် ဇွန် ၄ ရက်အထိ သေဆုံးသူ ၂၇၅ ဦး နှင့် ဒဏ်ရာရရှိသူ ၁,၀၀၀ ကျော် ရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။ဒေသခံပြည်သူများသည် ညစာ စားရန် ပြင်ဆင်နေချိန်တွင် ကျယ်လောင်သော ပေါက်ကွဲသံကြောင့် ရုတ်တရက် ထိတ်လန့်ခဲ့ရကြောင်း သိရသည်။“မြေပေါ်လဲကျနေတဲ့သူတွေဆီက ငိုသံတွေ ၊ အော်ဟစ်သံတွေ အများကြီး ထွက်ပေါ်လာပါတယ်။ အဲဒီလူတွေက ဆိုးဝါးတဲ့အခြေအနေ တွေ့ကြုံနေသလိုမျိုးပါပဲ ။ အဲဒါကို မဖော်ပြတက်လောက်အောင်ပါပဲ ။ ကျွန်တော် ခံစားမိပါတယ်”ဟု ဒေသခံ DEEPAK KUMAR က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

India’s deadly train accident leaves locals in shock
The deadly train accident in India’s eastern state of Odhisa has left locals in a state of shock. The train crash resulted in 275 deaths and over 1,000 injuries as of Sunday.
The local people were preparing for their dinner when they were suddenly jolted by a loud explosion.
SOUNDBITE 1 (English): DEEPAK KUMAR, Local resident “A lot of crying sound, a lot of screaming sound were coming out from the people who were lying. People were like in a disastrous situation, and I am not getting the proper word for that. It was like only my heart can understand.”
At hospitals, rescue centers, and information stations set up by authorities, families gather in hope of finding any clues about the whereabouts of their loved ones.
