မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါး တားဆီးနှိမ်နင်းရေးရဲတပ်ဖွဲ့မှ တပ်ဖွဲ့၀င်များပါ၀င်သော ပူးပေါင်းအဖွဲ့က တာချီလိတ်မြို့နယ်တွင် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၉ ရက်၌ မော်တော်ဆိုင်ကယ်တစ်စီးအား သတင်းအရ ရပ်တန့်ရှာဖွေရာတွင် စိတ်ကြွရူးသွပ်ဆေးပြား ၄,၀၀၀ ပြားနှင့်အတူ သံသယရှိသူတစ်ဦးအား ဖမ်းဆီးရမိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

240,000 stimulant tablets seized in eastern Myanmar
YANGON, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) — Myanmar police seized 240,000 stimulant tablets in eastern Myanmar’s Shan state, according to the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC) on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint anti-narcotic task force intercepted a motorcycle in Tachileik township on Feb. 9 and confiscated 4,000 stimulant tablets along with a suspect.
Further investigation led to the seizure of an additional 6,000 stimulant tablets at the suspect’s house in the same township, it said.
Subsequently, police seized 230,000 stimulant tablets at another suspect’s house in Tachileik town, it added.
The two suspects were charged under the Southeast Asian country’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, and further investigations were underway, the CCDAC said. ■
