Chinese automaker Geely records over 1,000 purchase orders in Indonesia
JAKARTA, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) — Chinese automaker Geely has achieved a major milestone with over 1,000 vehicle purchase orders for its EX5 series in Indonesia since its launch, highlighting the country’s growing interest in electric vehicles (EVs).
According to a press release received from Geely on Thursday, the purchase orders came from various sources, including the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, the country’s largest automotive exhibition, held in Jakarta from Feb. 13 to Feb. 23.
