အာဖဂန်နစ္စတန်နိုင်ငံ အရှေ့ပိုင်း Nangarhar ပြည်နယ်၌ အသက် ငါးနှစ်အောက် ကလေးငယ်တစ်ဦးတွင် မသန်စွမ်း ဖြစ်ပွားမှုအား တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ပြီးနောက် ပိုလီယိုရောဂါ ဖြစ်ပွားသူ ၅ ဦးကို တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကုလသမဂ္ဂကလေးများ ရန်ပုံငွေအဖွဲ့(UNICEF) အာဖဂန်နစ္စတန်နိုင်ငံက အတည်ပြုခဲ့သည်။

ရောဂါဖြစ်ပွားမှုအား Nangarhar ပြည်နယ် Dur Baba ခရိုင်၌ စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း အာဖဂန်နစ္စတန်နိုင်ငံရှိ UNICEF ပိုလီယိုရောဂါတိုက်ဖျက်ရေးအစီအစဉ် ဆက်သွယ်ရေးဌာန၏ ခေါင်းဆောင် Kamal Shah Sayed က မီဒီယာများအား ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

5 polio cases detected in Afghanistan: UNICEF
Afghanistan has reported five polio cases after a child under five years old was diagnosed with the crippling disease in the country’s eastern Nangarhar province, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Afghanistan has confirmed.
The case has been registered in Dur Baba district of Nangarhar province, Kamal Shah Sayed, head of the communications department of UNICEF Polio Eradication Program in Afghanistan, told media.
“The disease is feared to spread to other parts of the province and efforts were underway to check it,” the official said.
