အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံအနောက်ပိုင်း ဂူဂျာရတ်ပြည်နယ်ရှိ ရေကန်တစ်ခု၌ အပျော်စီးနေသည့် လှေတစ်စင်း တိမ်းမှောက်မှု ဖြစ်ပွားပြီးနောက် ပုဂ္ဂလိကစာသင်ကျောင်းတစ်ကျောင်းမှ ဆရာ/ဆရာမများနှင့် ကလေးငယ်များအပါအဝင် လူ ၁၂ ဦး ထက်မနည်း သေဆုံးနိုင်ကြောင်း တာဝန်ရှိသူများက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။လှေတိမ်းမှောက်မှုကြောင့် ရေကန်အတွင်းမှ လူ ၁၅ ဦးကို ကယ်ဆယ်ခဲ့ပြီး ဆေးရုံများသို့ ပို့ဆောင်ပေးခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။အဆိုပါစာသင်ကျောင်းက ကျောင်းသား/သူများအတွက် ပျော်ပွဲစားထွက်ရန် စီစဉ်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း တာဝန်ရှိသူများက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။သတင်းဖော်ပြချက်များအရ တိမ်းမှောက်သွားခဲ့သည့်လှေမှာ သတ်မှတ်လူဦးရေထက် ကျော်လွန်တင်ဆောင်ခဲ့ပြီး လှေပေါ်လိုက်ပါလာသူများမှာ အသက်ကယ်အင်္ကျီဝတ်ဆင်ထားကြခြင်း မရှိဟု ဆိုသည်။ (Xinhua)

12 feared killed as boat capsizes in India
At least 12 people, including children and teachers of a private school, are feared killed after a boat carrying them for a joyride capsized in a lake in the western Indian state of Gujarat, officials said.
Fifteen people have been rescued from the lake and removed to hospitals.
Officials said the school had organized a picnic for the students.
Reports said the boat was carrying people much beyond its capacity and none of them were wearing life jackets.
