မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ရန်ကုန်တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်က ချစ်စရာကောင်းတဲ့ ရှားပါးမျိုးစိတ် ပန်ဒါနီလေးများက လာရောက်လည်ပတ်သူများ၏ ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာများကို သိမ်းပိုက်ထား

ရန်ကုန်တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်အတွင်းရှိ မီးမီးနှင့် မောင်မောင်အမည်ရသော ပန်ဒါနီလေးများသည် အများပြည်သူ၏ အသည်းကျော် အချစ်တော်လေးများ လျင်မြန်စွာဖြစ်လာခဲ့ကြသည်။ တစ်ကိုယ်လုံးတွင် နီညိုရောင် အမွေးပွပွများရှိပြီး၊ တုတ်ခိုင်သည့်အမြီးလေးများနှင့် တောက်ပပြီး စူးစမ်းလိုစိတ်ပြင်းပြသည့် မျက်လုံးလေးများက လာရောက်လည်ပတ်သူများကို နေ့စဉ် ဆွဲဆောင်လျက်ရှိသည်။
၎င်းတို့သည် နေပြည်တော်၊ တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်မှ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလက ရောက်ရှိလာခဲ့ကြခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ယခုအချိန်တွင် ၎င်းတို့နေရာသည် တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်၏ လူအစည်ကားဆုံးနေရာများအနက် တစ်ခုဖြစ်လာခဲ့သည်။
၎င်းတို့၏ သဘာဝအတိုင်းနေထိုင်ရာနေရာနှင့် ဆင်တူအောင် ဖန်တီးပြုလုပ်ထားသည့် နေရာတွင် ဝါးတောများ၊ ၎င်းတို့ဆော့ကစားရန် သစ်ကိုင်းများဖြင့်ပြုလုပ်ထားသော တန်းကလေးများရှိပြီး အခန်းအပူချိန်ကို ၂၀-၂၅ ဒီဂရီစင်တီဂရိတ်နှင့် စိုထိုင်းစ Humidity 55% mmhg အအေးပေးစက်ထားရှိကာ စောင့်ရှောက်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ရန်ကုန်တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်၏ အသက် ၅၈ နှစ် အရွယ်ရှိ တာဝန်ခံ ဆရာဝန် ဒေါက်တာ ထွန်းမြင့်က “သူတို့လေးတွေက တရုတ်နိုင်ငံက ပန်ဒါကြီးတွေနဲ့တူပါတယ်။ လာရောက်တဲ့ ပရိသတ်တွေက အရမ်းစိတ်ဝင်စားမှုရှိပါတယ်။ ဘာလို့လဲဆိုတော့ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံမှာရှိတဲ့ giant Panda လိုပဲ၊ giant panda နဲ့ အပြုအမူ အနေအထိုင်ကအစ တူညီလို့ အရမ်းစိတ်ဝင်စားမှုရှိပါတယ်” ဟု ပြောသည်။
ပန်ဒါနီလေးများကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမြောက်ပိုင်း တရုတ်နယ်စပ်အနီး၌ အဓိကတွေ့ရှိရကြောင်း သိရသည်။ ၎င်းတို့အနေဖြင့် အလွန်ရှားပါးသော ပန်ဒါနီများကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၊ သစ်တောဦးစီးဌာနနှင့် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင် ထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရေးအဖွဲ့များမှ ဥပဒေများချမှတ်ပြီး စောင့်ရှောက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း” ၎င်းက ဆိုသည်။
ပန်ဒါနီလေးများဖြစ်သည့် မီးမီးနှင့် မောင်မောင်တို့သည် အသက် ၁၃ နှစ်ခန့်ရှိပြီဖြစ်ပြီး ၎င်းတို့၏ အမူအကျင့်များမှာမူ ခြားနားမှုရှိကြောင်း သိရသည်။ ၎င်းတို့သည် ဝါးရွက်ကို အဓိကစားသုံးပြီး ပန်းသီး၊ ငှက်ပျောသီး၊ စပျစ်သီး၊ မုန်လာဥနီနှင့် ကြက်ဥများကို ဂရုတစိုက်ဖြင့် အဟာရပြည့်ဝစေရန် နေ့စဥ် နှစ်ကြိမ် ကျွေးမွေးကြောင်း ဆိုသည်။
တိရစ္ဆာန်ရုံတွင် နှစ်ပေါင်း ၃၀ ကျော်ကြာ အလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့သည့် အသက် ၅၈ နှစ်အရွယ် ဒေါ်သန်းသန်းဌေးက တိရစ္ဆာန်လေးများအား ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်ရခြင်းကို ကျေနပ်ဂုဏ်ယူလျက်ရှိသည်။ “ပန်ဒါနီလေးတွေကို ၂၄ နာရီအပြည့် လေအေးပေးစက်ဖွင့်ပေးထားရပါတယ်” ဟု ၎င်းကရှင်းပြသည်။
“မောင်မောင်နဲ့ မီးမီးက ဒီဘက်အပြင်ထွက်လာပြီဆိုရင် မောင်မောင်က စူးစမ်းတယ်။ သူက ဆင်တွေဘာတွေ အော်တဲ့အခါကျရင် တစ်ခါတည်း ဝင်ပြေးသွားရော။ အသံဗလံကြားလို့မရဘူး။ နည်းနည်းကြားရင် စူးစမ်းပြီး ပြန်ဝင်သွားရော။ မီးမီးကတော့ ဘာကောင်ပဲလာလာ၊ ဘာအသံပဲလာလာ သူက ဘာမှမဖြစ်ဘူး။ အေးအေးဆေးပဲ။ သူတို့ရဲ့ မျက်နှာအမူအရာနဲ့ လှုပ်ရှားမှုလေးတွေက တကယ်ကို ချစ်စရာကောင်းတယ်” ဟု ဒေါ်သန်းသန်းဌေးက ၎င်းတို့၏အပြုအမူများကို ချစ်မြတ်နိုးသည့် အပြုံးများဖြင့် ရှင်းပြသည်။
၎င်းတို့၏ ချစ်စဖွယ်အပြုအမူလေးများက လူများကိုဆွဲဆောင်နိုင်စွမ်းရှိသည်။ ဩဂုတ် ၃၀ ရက် (စနေနေ့) တွင် တိရစ္ဆာန်ရုံသို့ လာရောက်လည်ပတ်ကြသော ကလေးငယ်များက ပန်ဒါနီများကို လက်ညှိုးထိုး၍ ပျော်ရွှင်စွာ အော်ဟစ်နေပုံကို မိဘများက လျှပ်တပြတ်ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ခဲ့ကြပြီး ပန်ဒါများ၏ အော်သံကြောင့် လာရောက်ကြသော ဧည့်သည်များမှာ စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားလျက်ရှိသည်။
အသက် ကိုးနှစ်အရွယ်ရှိ မငွေဇင်ယော်မောင်က ပန်ဒါနီ ထားသည့် ခြံဝင်းသံတိုင်ကိုကိုင်ကာ မျက်လုံးများဝေ့ဝိုက်၍ ကြည့်ရှုလျက်ရှိသည်။ “အရင်က ပန်ဒါနီ မမြင်ဖူးပါဘူး။ တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်ကို အမေ၊ အဒေါ်၊ ညီမလေးတို့နဲ့အတူ အလည်လာတာပါ” ဟု ၎င်းက ပြောသည်။
၎င်း၏မိခင်က သမီး ၂ ယောက်လုံးက ပန်ဒါနီလေးများကို ချစ်ခင်ကြကြောင်း ပြောပြခဲ့သည်။ “ကလေးတွေကို ပန်ဒါလေးတွေပြဖို့ ဒီနေ့ တိရစ္ဆာန်ဥယျာဉ်ကို လာခဲ့တာပါ” ဟု ၎င်းကပြောသည်။
ပန်ဒါနီလေးများကို ကြည့်၍ တခြားဧည့်ပရိသတ်များကလည်း စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားလျက်ရှိသည်။ “အရင်က ပန်ဒါနီတွေကို Youtube မှာပဲ မြင်ဖူးခဲ့တာ” ဟု မိသားစုနှင့်အတူ လာရောက်လည်ပတ်သော တောင်ဒဂုံမြို့နယ်တွင် နေထိုင်သည့် အသက် ၂၇ အရွယ်ရှိ ကိုဖြိုးကပြောသည်။
“ပန်ဒါကို လက်တွေ့ဘဝမှာ ပထမဆုံးအကြိမ်တွေ့ဖူးတာပါ” ဟု အသက်လေးနှစ်အရွယ် သားဖြစ်သူ မောင်သန့်ဇင်ဖြိုး၏ ဖခင်ဖြစ်သူက ပြောသည်။ မောင်သန့်ဇင်ဖြိုးကတော့ ၎င်း၏ ဖခင်လက်ကိုဆွဲကာ တိရစ္ဆာန်များကို စိတ်ဝင်တစားကြည့်ရှုလျက်ရှိသည်။
ခရီးဝေးမှလာကြည့်ကြသည့် ဧည့်သည်များကလည်း ပန်ဒါနီများကို လာရောက်ကြည့်ရှုကြသည်။ “အရင်က ပန်ဒါနီ မမြင်ဖူးဘူး။ ဒါပထမဆုံးအကြိမ်မြင်ဖူးတာပါ”ဟု သူငယ်ချင်းတစ်ဦးနှင့်အတူ မော်လမြိုင်မှ လာရောက်လည်ပတ်သည့် အသက် ၂၇ နှစ်အရွယ် ကိုဌေးလွင်အောင်က ပြောသည်။ “ဒါပြီးရင် မိကျောင်းနဲ့ ဆင်တွေကို သွားကြည့်မှာပါ”ဟု ၎င်းက ဆက်ပြောသည်။

Feature: Endangered red pandas win hearts at Yangon Zoo in Myanmar

YANGON, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) — Tucked inside Yangon Zoological Garden, a pair of red pandas, Mee Mee and Maung Maung, have quickly become stars. With russet coats, ringed tails, and bright, curious eyes, they charm visitors daily.

They arrived from Nay Pyi Taw Zoological Garden in January this year and now anchor one of the zoo’s busiest stops.

Their forest-like enclosure, designed to mimic their native habitats, features bamboo groves, climbing platforms, and a climate-controlled room kept steady at 20-25 degrees Celsius with 55 percent humidity.

“They are like giant pandas in China. They share similar behaviors that make people adore them,” said Tun Myint, 58, chief veterinarian of the Yangon Zoological Garden.

“They are mainly found in China and the forests of Kachin state in northern Myanmar. Since they are endangered, they are being taken care of as a national duty.”

Mee Mee and Maung Maung are both about 13 years old, but their personalities couldn’t be more different. Their diet, bamboo leaves, apples, bananas, grapes, carrots, and eggs, is carefully balanced and served twice daily by attentive keepers.

For zookeeper Daw Than Than Htay, 58, who has worked at the zoo for more than 30 years, caring for the pair is a source of pride. “They are placed in a room with air-conditioning 24/7,” she explained.

“Maung Maung is curious but afraid of the sounds of elephants nearby. Mee Mee doesn’t mind at all,” She smiled, describing their personalities: “Their faces and movements are really adorable.”

That adorableness draws crowds. On Saturday, children who visited the zoo pointed to the red pandas and cried with joy, parents snapped photos, and laughter rippled through the crowd at the pandas’ antics.

Nine-year-old Ngwe Zin Yaw Maung, clutching a red panda plush, stared wide-eyed at the enclosure. “I have never seen red pandas before,” she said, visiting with her mother, aunt, and younger sister.

Her mother said both of her daughters love the red pandas. “I brought them here today just to see the pandas.”

Others shared the same excitement. “I’ve only ever seen red pandas on YouTube,” said Ko Phyo, 27, who came with his family from south Dagon township in Yangon.

“This is the first time I’ve seen them in real life.” His four-year-old son, Thant Zin Phyo, tugged at his father’s hand, gazing curiously at the animals.

Visitors from even farther away also made the trip. “I have never seen red pandas before. This is my first time,” said Htay Lwin Aung, 27, who traveled from Mawlamyine with a friend. “After this, I’ll go watch crocodiles and elephants,” he added.

Yet behind the charm lies a deeper purpose. Red pandas are listed as endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List, with fewer than 10,000 left in the wild. Their survival is threatened by deforestation and illegal wildlife trade.

By hosting Mee Mee and Maung Maung, Yangon Zoo hopes to raise awareness while contributing to conservation. “When people visit, they learn that animals from cool regions can be conserved here,” said Tun Myint.

“Having red pandas here also provides opportunities for international experts to study them. Their habits and behaviors can be observed here, and valuable zoological information about them can be gathered,” he added. ■
