ယခုကဲ့သို့ စက်ဘီးများတင်ပို့မှု တိုးတက်လာခြင်းက ခိုင်မာသော ကုန်ထုတ်လုပ်မှုအရှိန်အဟုန်နှင့် ကမ္ဘာ့ဝယ်လိုအား မြင့်တက်လာမှုကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်ဟု ဖနွမ်းပင်တော်ဝင်တက္ကသိုလ်၏ နိုင်ငံတကာလေ့လာရေးနှင့် ပြည်သူ့မူဝါဒဆိုင်ရာ အင်စတီကျုမှ ကထိက Thong Mengdavid က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

“ဘာဗတ်မြို့မှာရှိတဲ့ အထူးစီးပွားရေးဇုန် (SEZs)က စက်ဘီးထုတ်လုပ်ရေးစက်ရုံတွေရဲ့ တည်ငြိမ်တဲ့ လုပ်ငန်းလည်ပတ်မှု၊ ဒေသတွင်း ထောက်ပံ့ရေးကွင်းဆက်တွေ တိုးမြှင့်ဝင်ရောက်လာမှု၊ အဓိကကျတဲ့ စျေးကွက်အတွင်းကအမှာစာတွေ တိုးမြှင့်လာမှု အထူးသဖြင့်တော့ အီးယူစျေးကွက်ပေါ့ဗျာ၊ ဒါတွေက အခုလိုမျိုး စက်ဘီးတင်ပို့မှု ကြီးထွားလာစေဖို့ မောင်းနှင်ပေးခဲ့တာပါပဲ” ဟု Thong Mengdavid က ဆင်ဟွာသတင်းဌာနသို့ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

” ဒီလမ်းကြောင်းအတိုင်းသာ ဆက်ပြီးသွားနေမယ်ဆိုရင် ကမ္ဘောဒီးယားဟာ အရင်က ပို့ကုန်စံချိန်တွေကို ကျော်တက်ဖို့ ကောင်းမွန်တဲ့အခြေအနေမှာ ရှိနေသလို စက်ဘီးထုတ်လုပ်ရေးအတွက်လည်း ပြိုင်ဆိုင်နိုင်စွမ်းရှိတဲ့ဒေသတွင်းဆိုင်ရာ အချက်အချာနေရာတစ်ခုအဖြစ် သူ့ရဲ့အခန်းကဏ္ဍကို အားကောင်းစေပါလိမ့်မယ်” ဟုလည်း Thong Mengdavid က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။ (Xinhua)

Cambodia’s bicycle export up 47.6 pct in 1st 10 months of 2025

Cambodia exported bicycles worth 502.8 million U.S. dollars to international markets in the first 10 months of 2025, with a year-on-year rise of 47.6 percent, said a Ministry of Commerce report on Saturday.
Ministry of Commerce’s Secretary of State and Spokesperson Penn Sovicheat said the Made-in-Cambodia bicycles had been exported mostly to the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada, among others.
Bicycles have become one of Cambodia’s main manufacturing products for exporting to international markets in addition to garments, shoes, travel goods, car tires, and potential agricultural commodities such as rice, rubber, cashew nuts, yellow bananas, mangoes, and longans, he told Xinhua.
Thong Mengdavid, a lecturer at the Institute for International Studies and Public Policy of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, said the increase reflected robust manufacturing momentum and rising global demand.
“Growth is driven by the stable operations of bicycle factories in special economic zones (SEZs) in Bavet City, improved access to regional supply chains, and expanding orders from key markets, particularly the EU market,” he told Xinhua.
“If this trajectory continues, Cambodia is well-positioned to surpass previous export records and will strengthen its role as a competitive regional hub for bicycle production,” he added. ■
