Rayo Vallecano extends defender Ratiu’s contract through 2030
MADRID, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) — Romanian international defender Andrei Ratiu has signed a new contract with Rayo Vallecano until the end of June 2030.
The new contract came after he joined Rayo in 2023 after a successful loan spell with Huesca.
Ratiu has become a key part of Rayo, which last season qualified for the UEFA Conference League. He has also played 36 times for Romania.
Ratiu’s performances attracted interest from the Premier League last summer, with Wolverhampton Wanderers making an offer to buy the full-back. ■
