Readers forum on “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China” held in Bangladesh
DHAKA, May 13 (Xinhua) — The China-Bangladesh Readers Forum on “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China” was held recently here with more than 350 attendees from the political, academic, business and media circles of both China and Bangladesh.
Participants noted that, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Bangladesh, it is of great significance to strengthen exchanges on governance experience and share the successful experience of Chinese modernization through discussions on the important works of the Chinese leader.
It is also important for carrying forward the traditional friendship between the two countries, deepening mutual political trust, and promoting the sustained development of the China-Bangladesh comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, they said.
The organizers of the forum said that “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China” has opened a window for Bangladeshi readers to better understand contemporary China, provided useful references for Bangladesh in exploring a modernization path suited to its national conditions, and offered a new platform for mutual learning and exchanges in the development of China-Bangladesh relations.
Readers can also gain a deeper understanding of the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s deep care about the people, the modernization path with Chinese characteristics, China’s relationship with the world in the new era, and the openness and inclusiveness of the Chinese civilization, said the organizers.
