6th China-Croatia joint police patrol launched in Zagreb
ZAGREB, July 17 (Xinhua) — The sixth China-Croatia joint police patrol was launched here on Thursday, with eight Chinese police officers joining the one-month mission in four of Croatia’s top destinations for Chinese tourists, including Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Zadar, and Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Croatia Qi Qianjin said the joint police patrol has become a symbol of China-Croatia cooperation and friendship, adding that China is willing to work with Croatia to tap the potential for cooperation in other areas.
Ante Maric, representative of the Croatian Police General Administration, said that the police officers of the two countries have cooperated well in the joint patrol, which has contributed to making Croatia a safer tourist destination.
China joined the project for the first time in 2018. Since then, a total of 46 Chinese police officers have participated in the joint patrol.
