ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံတွင် ၂၂ ကာရက်ရွှေလက်ဝတ်ရတနာစျေး သမိုင်းဝင်အမြင့်ဆုံးစျေးသို့ရောက်ရှိခဲ့ပြီး ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် စိန်ရွှေရတနာဆိုင်ပိုင်ရှင်များအသင်း (BAJUS) က နှုန်းထားသစ်သည် ၂၂ ကာရက်‌ရွှေ တစ်ဂရမ်လျှင် ၁၇,၃၃၅ တာကာ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အောက်တိုဘာ ၈ ရက် က ကြေညာခဲ့သည်။
BAJUS အခြားရွှေမူကွဲများအတွက်လည်း စျေးနှုန်းပြင်ဆင်မှုများပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပြီး ၂၁ ကာရက် တစ်ဂရမ်လျှင် ၁၆,၅၄၇ တာကာနှင့် ၁၈ ကာရက်အတွက် တစ်ဂရမ်လျှင် ၁၄,၁၈၃ တာကာ သတ်မှတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ရွှေစျေးနှုန်းအပေါ်တွင် ၅ ရာခိုင်နှုန်း အစိုးရ VAT (တန်ဖိုးထပ်ပေါင်းသည့်အခွန်) နှင့် လက်ခ ၆ ရာခိုင်နှုန်း အနည်းဆုံးထပ်ပေါင်းထည့်ရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
လက်ခနှုန်းသည် ပုံသေမဟုတ်ဘဲ လက်ဝတ်ရတနာ၏ ဒီဇိုင်းနှင့် အရည်အသွေးအပေါ် မူတည်ပြီး ပြောင်းလဲနိုင်ကြောင်း အသင်းက သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲတစ်ခုတွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံတွင် မကြာသေးမီနှစ်များက ရွှေစျေးနှုန်းတောက်လျှောက်မြင့်တက်နေပြီး အပတ်စဥ်နီးပါး စျေးနှုန်းသစ် စံချိန်တင်နေခဲ့သည်။
ကုန်သည်များက နိုင်ငံတကာရွေစျေးကွက် မတည်ငြိမ်မှု၊ တာကာငွေတန်ဖိုးကျဆင်းမှု၊ ငွေကြေးဖောင်းပွမှုမြင့်မားခြင်းနှင့် အထွေထွေ စီပွားရေး မသေချာမှုများက စျေးတက်စေသည့် အဓိကမောင်းနှင်အားများဖြစ်ကြောင်း ထောက်ပြပြောဆိုခဲ့သည်။

Bangladesh gold jewellery price soars to record high
DHAKA, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) — The price of 22-carat gold jewellery in Bangladesh hit a historic peak, and the formal announcement from the Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday established the new rate of 17,335 taka per gram for 22-carat.
BAJUS has also set the revised prices for other variants at 16,547 taka per gram for 21-carat and 14,183 taka per gram for 18-carat gold.
On top of the bullion prices, a five percent government VAT (value added tax) and a making charge of at least six percent will be added.
The association in a press release clarified that this making charge is not fixed and may vary depending on the jewellery’s design and quality.
Bangladesh has experienced a consistent appreciation in gold prices over recent years, with prices setting new records almost weekly.
Traders point to the volatile international bullion market, the devaluation of the taka, high inflation, and general economic uncertainty as the primary drivers.
The country’s annual gold demand is estimated at 20 to 40 tonnes.
In Bangladesh and across much of Asia, brides traditionally adorn themselves with gold jewelry, a cherished symbol of wealth, prosperity, and financial security.
However, the soaring price of gold is now reshaping this age-old custom in the impoverished South Asian nation.
Traders in Dhaka have reported that gold jewellery sales have halved due mainly to soaring prices in recent months. (1 U.S. dollar equals 122 taka)
