ဗီဇာကင်းလွတ်ခွင့် စတင်သောနေ့တွင် တရုတ်ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်များကို ထိုင်းဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ကြိုဆို

ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံသည် တရုတ်ခရီးသွားဈေးကွက် ပြန်လည်နိုးကြားလာစေရန် လတ်တလောဆောင်ရွက်မှုအနေဖြင့် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံမှ ဗီဇာကင်းလွတ်လေကြောင်းခရီးစဉ် ပထမအသုတ်ကို စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၅ ရက်က နွေးထွေးစွာကြိုဆိုခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
ရှန်ဟိုင်းမြို့မှ ခရီးသည်ဦးရေ ၃၄၁ ခန့်သည် သုဝဏ္ဏဘူမိလေဆိပ်သို့ စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၅ ရက် နံနက်ပိုင်းက ရောက်ရှိလာခဲ့ရာ ထိုင်းဝန်ကြီးချုပ်သစ် ဆေထာ ထဝီဆင်နှင့် ထိုင်းအစိုးရတာဝန်ရှိသူများက ပန်းများ၊ လက်ခုပ်ဩဘာများဖြင့် ကြိုဆိုခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရသည်။
“ပြည်ဝင်ခွင့်ဗီဇာကင်းလွတ်ခြင်းမူဝါဒသစ်အရ တရုတ်ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်တွေကို ကြိုဆိုမယ်ဆိုတဲ့ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံက ကတိပြုထားတဲ့ ပထမဆုံးနေ့လည်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်” ဟု လေဆိပ်၌ ကြိုဆိုခြင်းအခမ်းအနားတွင် ဆေထာက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံသည် ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်းမှတစ်ဆင့် တိုင်းပြည်စီးပွားရေးမြှင့်တင်ရန် ဝန်ကြီးချုပ်၏ ကတိကဝတ်ကို အကောင်ထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်မှုအနေဖြင့် စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၅ ရက်မှစ၍ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလကုန်အထိ တရုတ်ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်များ အတွက် ပြည်ဝင်ခွင့်ဗီဇာကင်းလွတ်မှု ခွင့်ပြုရန် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ကို မကြာသေးမီက ကြေညာခဲ့သည်။
“ဒီအစီအစဉ်က စီးပွားရေးကို သိသိသာသာ မြှင့်တင်ပေးလိမ့်မယ်လို့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ယုံကြည်ပါတယ်” ဟု ၎င်းက ဆိုသည်။
ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်းအာဏာပိုင်အဖွဲ့ (TAT) မှ နောက်ဆုံးရအချက်အလက်များအရ ယခုနှစ် ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁ ရက်မှ စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၇ ရက်အထိ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံသို့ တရုတ်ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် ၂.၃၄ သန်းကျော် ဝင်ရောက်ခဲ့ရာ ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ် အလားတူကာလထက် ၃၇ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းခန့် မြင့်တက်လာခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
အဆိုပါ အစီအစဉ်၏ ပံ့ပိုးမှုဖြင့် ယခုနှစ်အတွင်း တရုတ်ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည် အရေအတွက်မှာ လက်ရှိကိန်းဂဏန်းထက် နှစ်ဆဖြစ်သော ၄.၀၁ သန်းမှ ၄.၄ သန်းကြား ဝင်ရောက်နိုင်မည်ဟု တာဝန်ရှိသူများက မျှော်မှန်းထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

Thai PM greets Chinese tourists on inaugural visa-free day
BANGKOK, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) — Thailand extended a warm welcome to the first batch of visa-exempt flights from China on Monday, marking the launch of the nation’s fresh initiative to reinvigorate its Chinese tourist market.
Approximately 341 visitors from Shanghai landed at Suvarnabhumi airport on Monday morning, greeted with flowers and applause by the newly appointed Prime Minister (PM) Srettha Thavisin and several senior Thai officials.
“This marks a promising first day for Thailand as we welcome Chinese tourists under the new visa-free entry policy,” Srettha said at the airport’s welcoming ceremony.
The Southeast Asian country recently announced its decision to allow visa-free entry for Chinese tourists from Sept. 25 until the end of February 2024, in alignment with the PM’s commitment to enhancing Thailand’s economy through tourism.
“We are confident that this scheme will significantly boost the economy,” he said.
According to the latest data from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), from Jan. 1 to Sept. 17 this year, Thailand recorded over 2.34 million Chinese tourists, approximately 37 percent of the same period in 2019.
With the help of the scheme, authorities hope to double the current number, anticipating between 4.01 to 4.4 million Chinese visitors for the entire year.
