China’s Xinjiang Oilfield reports CO2 storage and utilization breakthrough
Xinjiang Oilfield, a major oil producer in NW China, has achieved annual CO2 storage of over one million tonnes as of Dec. 28, marking a breakthrough in the country’s large-scale application of carbon capture, utilization and storage technologies, said CNPC on Monday.
