4-meter-long python swallows eight chickens
A 4-meter-long, 40-kg python swallowed eight chickens from a villager’s coop in Xishuangbanna, China’s Yunnan. It spat them out after police and firefighters rushed to the scene. As a second-class protected animal in China, the python was released to a nature reserve.
