တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ အနောက်မြောက်ပိုင်း ကန်းစုပြည်နယ်၊ Baiyin မြို့တွင် BeiDou တည်နေရာပြဂြိုဟ်တုစနစ် (BDS) နှင့် ဒရုန်းများ အပါအဝင် အဆင့်မြင့်နည်းပညာများက လျှပ်စစ်ဓာတ်အားလိုင်းများ ဘေးကင်းစိတ်ချမှုရှိစေရေးအတွက် စောင့်ကြည့်ရာတွင် အသုံးပြုလျက်ရှိသည်။BDS ၏ အကူအညီဖြင့် ဒေသန္တရ လျှပ်စစ်ဓာတ်အားလိုင်း ၇၄၀ ကီလိုမီတာနီးပါး၏ နမူနာပုံစံကို cloud ပေါ်တွင် တင်ထားပြီးဖြစ်သည်။
“ကျွန်တော်တို့ ဒရုန်းတွေနဲ့ ရဟတ်ယာဉ်တွေ အသုံးပြုပြီးတော့ လျှပ်စစ်ဓာတ်အားလိုင်းတွေပေါ် စစ်ဆေးမှု အမျိုးမျိုး လုပ်ခဲ့တယ်။ ဒရုန်းတွေက စစ်ဆေးမှု ၈,၃၀၀ ကျော် လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့တယ်။ ချို့ယွင်းချက်ပေါင်း ၃,၅၀၀ ကျော်ကိုလည်း ဓာတ်အားလိုင်းပေါ်ကနေ ဖယ်ရှားနိုင်ခဲ့တယ်။ လုပ်ငန်းထိရောက်မှုကတော့ ၃၁ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းတိုးလာတာပေါ့” ဟု China Mobile ၏ လန်ကျိုးရုံးခွဲမှ HU YANG က ပြောသည်။ (Xinhua)

BDS, drones help monitor power grid in Gansu, China
In Baiyin City of northwest China’s Gansu Province, advanced technologies, including the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) and drones, have been used to monitor power grid to ensure safety since this August.
With the help of the BDS, the modeling of nearly 740 km of the local power grid has been finished on cloud.

“We have made use of drones and helicopters and conducted various kinds of inspections on the power supply lines. Drones have made over 8,300 inspections. More than 3,500 defects have been removed from the power grid. The work efficiency has been increased by 31 percent.”
