အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၅ ရက်အထိ လာအိုလူဦးရေ၏ ၄၃.၆၆ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းမှာ ကာကွယ်ဆေး ၁ကြိမ် ထိုးနှံပြီးဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ၃၇.၄၇ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းမှာ ကာကွယ်ဆေး အပြည့်အဝ ထိုးနှံပြီးဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

Laos yet to set date for border reopening: media

VIENTIANE, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) — Laos has yet to set a date to welcome the return of vaccinated foreign tourists, local media reported.
The priority at present is to vaccinate at least 50 percent of the population against COVID-19 by the end of 2021, local daily Vientiane Times reported on Wednesday, quoting Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Ounthuang Khaophan, as saying.

“Vaccination is the most important thing for our country at present,” Ounthuang said on Monday.
“If we can vaccinate more than 50 percent of the population and the COVID-19 outbreak subsides, in the coming months we can reopen our borders to vaccinated tourists from countries with a low COVID-19 risk.”

As of Monday, 43.66 percent of the Lao population had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 37.47 percent had been fully vaccinated.
The Lao Ministry of Health on Wednesday reported 733 new cases of COVID-19. As of Wednesday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Laos reached 37,751 with 58 deaths. Enditem
