“မုန်တိုင်းဟာ မေ ၁၀ ရက်အထိ အနောက်မြောက်ဘက်သို့ ရွေ့လျားသွားဖွယ်ရှိပြီး အနောက်အလယ်ပိုင်းသို့ ရောက်ရှိကာ အန်ဒရာပရာဒက်ရှ်နှင့် ဩရိဿ ကမ်းရိုးတန်းများ၏ မြောက်ဘက် ဘင်္ဂလားပင်လယ်အော် အနောက်မြောက်ဘက် ကပ်လျက်ရွေ့လျားသွားမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ အဲဒီနောက်မှာတော့ မြောက် အရှေ့မြောက်ဘက်ဆီကို ပြန်ကွေ့သွားပြီး ဩရိဿကမ်းရိုးတန်း ဘင်္ဂလားပင်လယ်အော် အနောက်မြောက်ဘက်ဆီသို့ ဦးတည်ရွေ့လျားသွားဖွယ်ရှိကြောင်း” IMD မှ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ သိရသည်။

သို့ရာတွင် ဩရိဿ၊ အန်ဒရာပရာဒက်ရှ်နှင့် အနောက်ဘန်ဂေါ စသည့်ကမ်းရိုးတန်းခရိုင်များတွင် မေ ၁၀ ရက်မှ ၁၂ ရက်အထိ မိုးသည်းထန်စွာရွာသွန်းမည်ဟု ခန့်မှန်းထားသည်။

ပင်လယ်ရေပြင်အခြေအနေမှာမူ လှိုင်းလေမြင့်တက်၊ ပြင်းထန်လာနိုင်ဖွယ်ရှိပြီး အဆိုပါ ကမ်းရိုးတန်းဒေသများရှိ တံငါသည်များအနေဖြင့်လည်း ပင်လယ်ပြင်သို့ ငါးဖမ်းမထွက်ကြရန်နှင့် ပင်လယ်ပြင်တွင် ရောက်ရှိနေသူများအနေဖြင့်လည်း ချက်ချင်းပြန်လှည့်ကြရန် မိုးလေဝသဌာနက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

တစ်ချိန်တည်းမှာပင် ဩရိဿပြည်နယ်အစိုးရက Ganjam ၊ Puri ၊ Jagatsinghpur နှင့် Kendrapada စသည့် ကမ်းရိုးတန်းခရိုင်လေးခုရှိ အနည်းဆုံးရပ်ကွက် ၁၅ ခုရှိ မြေနိမ့်ပိုင်းဒေသများရှိ ရွှံ့စေးနေအိမ်များအတွင်း နေထိုင်သူများအား ဘေးလွတ်ရာသို့ ရွှေ့ပြောင်းပေးရန် ဆုံးဖြတ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

အဆိုပါ ပြည်နယ်သည် ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်က Fani ၊ ၂၀၂၀ ပြည့်နှစ်တွင် Amphan နှင့် ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် Yaas စသဖြင့် လွန်ခဲ့သော သုံးနှစ်အတွင်း ဆိုင်ကလုန်းမုန်တိုင်း သုံးလုံးဖြင့် ကြုံတွေ့ခဲ့သည်။

Cyclone Asani intensifies into severe cyclonic storm in India

NEW DELHI, May 9 (Xinhua) — The cyclone Asani, which formed in the southeast Bay of Bengal intensified into a severe cyclonic storm and moved in the direction of north Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coasts, officials said Monday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the cyclone will not make landfall in Andhra Pradesh or Odisha and will weaken gradually during the next 24 hours.
“It is very likely to move northwestwards till May 10 and reach west central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coasts. Thereafter, it is very likely to recurve north northeastwards and move towards the northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast,” a statement issued by the IMD said.
However, the IMD has predicted moderate to heavy rain in the coastal districts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal from Tuesday evening until Thursday.
The department said sea condition is likely to become high and rough and fishermen in these coastal areas have been advised against venturing into the sea and those on the sea have been asked to return immediately.
Meanwhile, the local government in Odisha has decided to evacuate the people residing in mud houses located in the low-lying areas of at least 15 blocks of four coastal districts like Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, and Kendrapada to safe shelters.
Rescue teams from the disaster response force have been kept ready in places that are likely to be hit by heavy rains.
The state has witnessed three cyclones in the past three years — Fani in 2019, Amphan in 2020 and Yaas in 2021.
Officials said the north coastal district of Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh has also been kept on high alert and a 24-hour working control room has been set up there to coordinate efforts. ■
