နိုင်ငံတကာ အဏုမြူစွမ်းအင်အေဂျင်စီ (IAEA) က ယူကရိန်းနိုင်ငံ တောင်ပိုင်းရှိ ဇာပိုရေဇီးယား နျူကလီးယားစွမ်းအင်စက်ရုံ (ZNPP) ၏ အအေးပေးကန်ရှိ ရေလယ်ဗယ်ကို အနီးကပ်စောင့်ကြည့်သွားမည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း IAEA ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Rafael Grossi က ဇွန် ၁၅ ရက်၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

“ကန်ထဲမှာရှိတဲ့ ရေလယ်ဗယ်က အချိန်အနည်းငယ်တော့ ဘေးကင်းနိုင်ပါတယ်” ဟု Grossi က ZNPP သို့ သွားရောက်လည်ပတ်ပြီးနောက် တွစ်တာပေါ်၌ ရေးသားခဲ့သော ဗီဒီယိုသတင်းစကားတွင် ပြောခဲ့သည်။
Kakhovka ရေကာတာပျက်စီးမှုကြောင့် နျူကလီးယားစက်ရုံကို အအေးပေးရန်လိုအပ်သော ရေလယ်ဗယ်မှာ လျော့ကျလာခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း Grossi က ဆိုသည်။

Grossi သည် Kakhovka ရေကာတာ ရေကြီးရေလျှံမှုဖြစ်ပွားပြီးနောက် အခြေအနေကို သုံးသပ်ရန် ZNPP သို့ ဇွန် ၁၅ ရက် အစောပိုင်း ရောက်ရှိလာခဲ့သည်။
Kakhovka ရေအားလျှပ်စစ်စက်ရုံ ရေကာတာသည် ဇွန် ၆ ရက်က ပျက်စီးခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။
Kakhovka စက်ရုံ၏ အရှေ့မြောက်ဘက် ၁၄၀ ကီလိုမီတာခန့်အကွာတွင် တည်ရှိသော အဆိုပါ ZNPP ကို ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ် မတ်လကတည်းက ရုရှားတပ်ဖွဲ့များက ထိန်းချုပ်ထားခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

IAEA to closely monitor water level at Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant’s cooling pond
KIEV, June 16 (Xinhua) — The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will closely monitor the water level at the cooling pond of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) in southern Ukraine, IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi said Thursday.
“With the water that is here the plant can be kept safe for some time,” Grossi said in a video message on Twitter after visiting the ZNPP.
The destruction of the Kakhovka dam has caused a decrease in the water level, which is needed to cool the nuclear facility, Grossi said.
Grossi arrived at the ZNPP earlier on Thursday to assess the situation after the Kakhovka dam flooding.
The Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam was destroyed on June 6.
The ZNPP, which has been controlled by Russian forces since March 2022, is located some 140 km northeast of the Kakhovka plant.
