Corinthians sign Dutch forward Memphis Depay
RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) — Corinthians have completed the signing of Dutch forward Memphis Depay, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Monday.
The 30-year-old, who arrives as a free agent after parting ways with Atletico Madrid in May, agreed to a deal that runs until December 2026, according to a statement on Corinthians’ official website.
Corinthians reportedly beat off competition for Depay’s signature from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Spain and Mexico.
