China’s Olympic champions carry torch for Asian Winter Games
China’s Olympic champions, including Sheng Lihao, Wu Dajing, and Sui Wenjing, participated in the torch relay for the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin on Monday. They praised the event’s preparations and extended their best wishes to the athletes.
Wu Dajing, a short-track speed skater and two-time Winter Olympic gold medalist at PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022, expressed his excitement about seeing young talent shine.

Aston Villa signs Asensio on loan from PSG

Sun took control early, winning the first two games 11-3 before closing out the match 11-7.
The Chinese team had a successful day, winning seven of eight matches in the men’s and women’s singles events, with Xiang Peng losing 3-0 to Germany’s Dimitrij Ovtcharov.

Juventus signs Newcastle defender Kelly on loan
Juventus continued to bolster its back-line as the Italian Serie A giant on Monday confirmed the loan move of Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly.
Juve had been short of options in defense, having lost Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal to long-term injuries.
Born in 1998, Kelly is a central defender who can also play at left-back. He joined Newcastle from Bournemouth in the summer, featuring in a total of 14 matches for the Magpies.
