Chinese premier congratulates Norwegian PM on reelection
BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) — Chinese Premier Li Qiang has congratulated Jonas Gahr Store on his reelection as Norwegian prime minister.
In his message sent on Saturday, Li said that Norway is China’s important cooperation partner in Europe. In 2024, as the two countries jointly celebrated the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties, Prime Minister Store paid a successful official visit to China, during which the two sides held in-depth exchanges on bilateral relations and issues of common concern, and signed a joint statement on the establishment of dialogue on the green transition, Li added.
Li expressed his willingness to continue working with Store to strengthen the two countries’ exchanges at all levels, consolidate mutual political trust, and enhance communication and cooperation in economy and trade, investment, green transition, science, education and people-to-people exchanges, so as to lift China-Norway relations to a new height.
