Xi extends congratulations to Nauru’s president on 58th anniversary of independence
BEIJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday sent a congratulatory message to Nauru’s President David Adeang on the 58th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Xi pointed out that since the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Nauru, bilateral ties have flourished, with exchanges at all levels becoming increasingly frequent, practical cooperation producing substantial results, and the friendship between the two peoples continuing to deepen.
Noting that he attaches great importance to the development of China-Nauru relations, Xi said he’s willing to work together with President Adeang to advance the bilateral ties to new heights, bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both countries.
