ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံတွင် ပြီးခဲ့သော ၂၄ နာရီအတွင်း COVID-19 ရောဂါနှင့်ဆက်စပ်၍ သေဆုံးသူ ၁၅ ဦးထိ ရှိခဲ့ရာ ကပ်ရောဂါ စတင်ဖြစ်ပွားချိန် ကတည်းက တစ်ရက်အတွင်း လူသေဆုံးမှု အများဆုံး အရေအတွက် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း COVID-19 အခြေအနေစီမံခန့်ခွဲရေးစင်တာ (CCSA) က ဧပြီ ၂၇ ရက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ယခုနှစ် ဧပြီလတွင် ကပ်ရောဂါ တတိယလှိုင်း စတင်ရိုက်ခတ်ချိန်ကတည်းက သေဆုံးသူ ၆၉ ဦးအပါအဝင် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ၌ COVID-19 ရောဂါဖြင့် သေဆုံးသူ စုစုပေါင်း ၁၆၃ ဦးထိ ရှိလာခဲ့ကြောင်း CCSA မှ ပြောရေးဆိုခွင့်ရှိသူ Taweesin Visanuyothin က သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲ၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ပြည်တွင်း ကူးစက်မှု ၂,၁၇၄ ဦး နှင့် ပြည်ပမှဝင်ရောက်လာသူ ၅ ဦး အပါအဝင် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ၌ ဧပြီ ၂၇ ရက်တွင် အတည်ပြုလူနာသစ် ၂,၁၇၉ ဦး စစ်ဆေးတွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။ဧပြီ ၂၇ ရက်က သေဆုံးခဲ့သူ ၁၅ ဦးတွင် ဆီးချို ၊ နှလုံး နှင့် သွေးတိုးရောဂါ ကဲ့သို့သော ရောဂါအခံရှိသူများ ပါဝင်ကြောင်း Taweesin က ဆိုသည်။

ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံရှိ ပြည်နယ် ၇၇ ခု အနက် ၅၆ ခုတွင် ကိုရိုနာဗိုင်းရပ်စ်ကူးစက်မှုကို ဖြတ်တောက်ရန် ယခုအခါ အများပြည်သူများအနေဖြင့် နေအိမ်ပြင်ပထွက်ချိန်၌ မဖြစ်မနေ နှာခေါင်းစည်းတပ်ဆင်ရန် အမိန့်ထုတ်ပြန်ထားကြောင်း ပြည်ထဲရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ ပြောကြားချက်အရ သိရသည်။

Thailand reports single-day record of 15 COVID-19 deaths

BANGKOK, April 27 (Xinhua) — Thailand registered 15 COVID-19 related deaths over the last 24 hours, the highest single-day number since the pandemic began, the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said Tuesday.
The national death toll has reached 163, of which 69 have died since the beginning of the third wave of the outbreak in April this year, CCSA spokesman Taweesin Visanuyothin told a press conference.
A total of 2,179 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday, including 2,174 domestic infections and five imported cases, Taweesin said.
The 15 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday reportedly involved varied fatal illnesses such as diabetes, heart diseases and high blood pressure, he said.
Fifty-six out of a total of 77 provinces in the country are currently obliging the public to wear face masks outside their home as an effort to curb the spread of coronavirus, according to the Ministry of Interior.
People who fail to comply with the mask-wearing measure will face a fine of up to 20,000 baht (about 657 U.S. dollars).
The 56 provinces include those which have reported a large number of COVID-19 infections during the third wave such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket, the ministry’s report said.
The total case tally in Thailand has now reached 59,687, of which 33,551 patients have fully recovered and been released from hospitals while 25,973 others are currently hospitalized.
According to the latest data, around 0.3 percent of the country’s population has been fully vaccinated, with 1,012,388 people having received the first dose, while 214,644 have received the second one. Enditem
