မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ တာဝန်ရှိသူများက လွန်ခဲ့သည့် သီတင်းပတ်အတွင်း နိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်း တရားမဝင်သစ်ခိုးထုတ်မှုတွင် သံသယရှိသူ ၁၀ ဦးကို ဖမ်းဆီးရမိခဲ့ကြောင်း ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၀ ရက်ထုတ် နိုင်ငံပိုင် နေ့စဉ်ထုတ် ကြေးမုံသတင်းစာတွင် ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁ ရက်မှ ၇ ရက်အထိ နေပြည်တော်၊ ပြည်နယ်နှင့်တိုင်းဒေသကြီး သစ်တောဦးစီးဌာနများမှ ပေးပို့လာသော စာရင်းများအရ သံသယရှိသူများအား ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့ပြီး သစ်တန်ချိန်စုစုပေါင်း ၁၁၅.၇၆ တန်နှင့်အတူ ယာဉ်ခုနစ်စီးနှင့် စက်ယန္တရားများကို သိမ်းဆည်းရမိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

သိမ်းဆည်းရမိသော သစ်များမှာ ကျွန်းသစ် ၁၁.၄၆ တန်၊ သစ်မာ ၁၃.၅ တန်နှင့် အခြားသစ်အမျိုးအစား ၉၀.၈ တန်တို့ ပါဝင်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

10 arrested for smuggling timber in Myanmar
YANGON, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) — Myanmar authorities have arrested 10 suspects involved in an alleged smuggling of timber across the country in the past week, the state-owned daily The Mirror reported on Wednesday.
From December 1 to 7, the authorities arrested the suspects and seized 115.76 tons of timber, and seven vehicles and machines, the report said.
The confiscated timber included 11.46 tons of teak, 13.5 tons of hardwood and 90.8 tons of other types of timber, it said.
The Forest Department under the country’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation has been cracking down on illegal logging and trading of forest products in various ways, it added. Enditem
