ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ်နိုင်ငံ မြို့တော် ဒါကာရှိ Hazrat Shahjalal နိုင်ငံတကာလေဆိပ် တည်ဆောက်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းခွင်တွင် အလေးချိန် ၂၅၀ ကီလိုဂရမ်ရှိသော နောက်ထပ် စစ်လက်ကျန်ဗုံးတစ်လုံးကို ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၄ ရက်က တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း ကာကွယ်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြည်သူ့ဆက်ဆံရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုရုံး (ISPR) ဌာနက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

အလုပ်သမားများသည် ဒီဇင်ဘာ ၁၄ ရက် နံနက်ပိုင်းက လေဆိပ်၏ တတိယမြောက် ဂိတ်ပေါက် တည်ဆောက်ရေးအတွက် မြေတူးဖော်နေစဉ် မြေအောက် ၃.၀၅ မီတာခန့်တွင် နစ်မြုပ်နေသော ဆလင်ဒါပုံသဏ္ဍာန်စွယ်စုံသုံး (GP) ဗုံးတစ်လုံးကို တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း ယင်းဌာနက ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်၌ ပြောကြားထားသည်။ ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် လေတပ်မှ ဗုံးရှင်းလင်းရေးအဖွဲ့က ဗုံးကို ရှင်းလင်းခဲ့ပြီးနောက် ဖျက်ဆီးရန် သယ်ဆောင်သွားခဲ့ကြောင်း ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်တွင် ဖော်ပြထားသည်။

Another wartime bomb found at construction site of Bangladesh’s main airport

DHAKA, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) — Another 250-kg wartime bomb was on Monday found at now the construction site of Bangladesh’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in capital Dhaka, said the Defense Ministry’s Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) department.

The department said in a statement that workers found the cylinder-shaped general-purpose (GP) bomb buried about 3.05 meters deep when excavating for building the third terminal of the airport on Monday morning.

It said a bomb disposal unit from the Bangladeshi Air Force defused the bomb which was later sent for demolition.
Earlier this month, workers found a bomb of the same kind at the same construction site.

Like the first one, the ISPR said, experts identified the bomb newly found as an air-dropped bomb and believed it was also dropped sometime in 1971. Enditem
