Horgos Port in China’s Xinjiang sees over 300,000 vehicle exports in 2023
The number of cleared commercial vehicles at the Horgos highway port in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has exceeded 300,000 in 2023 as of December 30, statistics from the Horgos Customs showed.
The figure marks a 25 percent increase from the previous year.
The port has witnessed a surge in the export of complete vehicles since the beginning of 2023, with the highest daily export volume reaching 1,302 units. The exported vehicle brands include well-known domestic names such as BYD, Changan, Chery, Yutong, Zeekr, and others.
