GLOBALink | Ice and snow themed park opens to public in NE China’s ice city Harbin

HARBIN, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) — The 23rd Harbin Ice-Snow World, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city, opened to the public on Saturday.
With the theme of “The light of the Winter Olympics shines all over the world,” the park this year has seven themed zones and a 550-meter sightseeing route. It features 65 sites of snow and ice carvings and sculptures. It is estimated that 230,000 cubic meters of ice and snow were used in the park’s construction.
