Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) က တာဝန်ယူတည်ဆောက်မည့် လာအိုနိုင်ငံ၏ ပထမဆုံး ၆၀၀ မဂ္ဂါဝပ် မုတ်သုံလေအားလျှပ်စစ်စီမံကိန်းအတွက် အုတ်မြစ်ချအခမ်းအနားကို လာအိုနိုင်ငံ မြို့တော် ဗီယင်ကျန်း၌ ကျင်းပခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။

အဆိုပါ မုတ်သုံလေအားလျှပ်စစ်စီမံကိန်းသည် လာအိုနိုင်ငံ၌ လေအားလျှပ်စစ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုအတွက် နည်းလမ်းသစ်တစ်ခု ဖော်ဆောင်ပေးမည်ဖြစ်သလို လာအို၏ စီးပွားရေးနှင့် လျှပ်စစ်ကဏ္ဍ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုအတွက် အရှိန်အဟုန်သစ်လည်း ပံ့ပိုးပေးမည်ဟု လာအို စွမ်းအင်နှင့် သတ္တုတွင်းဝန်ကြီး Phoxay Sayasone က ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

PowerChina to build Laos’ 1st wind power project
VIENTIANE, April 27 (Xinhua) — A groundbreaking ceremony for the 600 MW Monsoon Wind Power Project, the first of this kind in Laos, contracted by Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina), has been held in Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
The Monsoon Wind Power Project will pave a new way for the development of wind power in Laos and provide new momentum for the development of Laos’ economy and power sector, said Lao Minister of Energy and Mines Phoxay Sayasone.
PowerChina will contribute its wisdom and strength to the economic and social development in Laos and the Belt and Road Initiative with a new achievement, said Yang Jian, deputy general manager of PowerChina’s Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters.
The power plant will be built in Sekong Province and Attapeu Province of southern Laos and is expected to export and sell electricity to neighboring Vietnam.
After completion, the project will be the first wind power project in Laos, the largest in Southeast Asia and the first cross-border new energy project in Asia, according to Monsoon Wind Power Company.
