UN envoy says holds “constructive” talks with Houthi leader
The United Nations (UN) Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg announced on Wednesday that he had “positive engagements” with Houthi authorities in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, calling on concerning parties to take bold steps to end the years-long war in the country.
Speaking to reporters after concluding his two-day talks with Houthi leaders in the Houthis-held Sanaa, Grundberg said the discussions were “frank, detailed and constructive.”
