လစ်ဗျားနိုင်ငံအရှေ့ပိုင်းတွင် စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၀ ရက်တွင် ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သော ရေကြီးရေလျှံမှုများကြောင့် လူနေအိမ် ၅,၀၀၀ ခန့် ထိခိုက်ပျက်စီးခဲ့ကြောင်း လစ်ဗျား အိမ်ရာနှင့်ဝန်ဆောင်မှုလုပ်ငန်းစီမံကိန်း အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရးအေဂျင်စီက စက်တင်ဘာ ၁၅ ရက်တွင် ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။ရေကြီးရေလျှံမှုများကြောင့် ရေပေးဝေရေးကွန်ရက်များ ပျက်စီးသွားခဲ့ပြီး ရေဘေးသင့်ဒေသများတွင် သောက်သုံးရေ ဆိုးဆိုးရွားရွားပြတ်လပ်မှု ဖြစ်ပေါ်စေခဲ့ကြောင်း အေဂျင်စီက အတည်ပြုခဲ့သည်။

About 5,000 homes damaged by floods in E Libya
The Libyan Agency for Implementation of Housing and Utilities Projects on Friday revealed that around 5,000 homes were damaged by the floods that hit eastern Libya on Sunday.
The agency also confirmed that the floods destroyed water supply networks, causing a severe shortage of drinking water in the affected areas.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) estimates that over 38,640 individuals in eastern Libya, mostly in Derna city, were displaced by the floods.
