နယူးဇီလန်နိုင်ငံတွင် COVID-19 ကပ်ရောဂါအား အောင်မြင်စွာ စီမံခန့်ခွဲနိုင်သည်မှာ နယူးဇီလန်နှင့် ဩစတြေးလျအကြား ဧပြီ ၁၉ ရက်မှစတင်မည့် ကွာရန်တင်း (Quarantine) ကင်းလွတ်သော ခရီးသွားခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် ဂျာဆင်ဒါအာဒန် (Jacinda Ardern) ဧပြီ ၆ ရက်တွင် ကြေညာခဲ့သည်။

ဩစတြေးလျနိုင်ငံနှင့် ကွာရန်တင်းကင်းလွတ်သော ခရီးသွားလာခြင်း စတင်မည့် အခြေအနေများမှာ ကိုက်ညီလျက်ရှိကြောင်း အာဒန်က သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲ၌ ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။“ကျန်းမာရေးဌာန ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ်က ဩစတြေးလျမှ နယူးဇီလန်သို့ COVID-19 ကူးစက်မှုအန္တရာယ်ကို စဉ်းစားလျက်ရှိသလို ကွာရန်တင်းကင်းလွတ်သော ခရီးသွားလာခြင်းက ကူးသန်းရောင်းဝယ်ရေးအတွက်လည်း ဘေးကင်းမှုရှိတယ်” ဟု အာဒန်က ဆိုသည်။

ကွာရန်တင်းကင်းလွတ်သော ခရီးသွားလာခြင်းက “ချစ်ခင်ရသူများနှင့် ပြန်လည်ချိတ်ဆက်နိုင်မယ့် အခွင့်အလမ်း ဖွင့်ပေးလိုက်သလို နှစ်နိုင်ငံကြား ခရီးသွားလာခြင်းကို ပြန်လည်စတင်နိုင်မှာဖြစ်တယ်” ဟု ၎င်းက ပြောခဲ့သည်။

New Zealand-Australia quarantine-free travel to start April 19

WELLINGTON, April 6 (Xinhua) — New Zealand’s successful management of COVID-19 pandemic means quarantine-free travel between New Zealand and Australia will start on April 19, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced Tuesday.
The conditions for starting to open up quarantine free travel with Australia have been met, Ardern told a press conference.
“The Director-General of Health considers the risk of transmission of COVID-19 from Australia to New Zealand is low and that quarantine free travel is safe to commence,” Ardern said.
The quarantine free travel “opens up the opportunity to reconnect with loved ones and resume Trans-Tasman travel,” she said.
The prime minister highlighted economic recovery and arrangement of safely opening up international travel while continuing to pursue a strategy of elimination and keeping the virus out.
However, she warned that people will need to plan for the possibility of having travel disrupted if there is an outbreak.■
