အမေရိကန်နိုင်ငံဘက်မှ တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ တစ်နိုင်ငံတည်းမူဝါဒနှင့် တတိယအကြိမ်မြောက် တရုတ်-အမေရိကန် ပူးတွဲသဘောတူညီချက်၏ စည်းမျဉ်းစည်းကမ်းပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက်များကို တစ်သဝေမတိမ်းလိုက်နာရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း နှင့် ပီလိုစီ၏ ထိုင်ဝမ်ခရီးစဉ်အား မဆိုင်းမတွ ဖျက်သိမ်းရမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း တရုတ်နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြောခွင့်ရပုဂ္ဂိုလ် ကျောက်လိကျန်းက ဆိုသည်။

China on Thursday warned that if U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi insists on visiting Taiwan, China will take firm and robust measures to resolutely safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity and the U.S. side shall bear all ensuing consequences.
Urging the U.S. side to stick to the one-China principle and stipulations of the three China-U.S. Joint Communiques, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said that Pelosi’s planned visit to Taiwan must be cancelled immediately.

“China firmly opposes all forms of official interactions between the U.S. and Taiwan. The U.S. Congress is part of the U.S. government. It should follow the one-China policy of the U.S. government. If Speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Taiwan, it will severely violate the one-China principle and stipulations in the three China-U.S. Joint Communiques, gravely undermine China sovereignty and territorial integrity and seriously impact the political foundation of China-U.S. relations. It will also send a very wrong signal to the ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist forces. China firmly opposes this and has lodged so long representation with the U.S. side.
The U.S. side should abide by the one-China principle and the three China-U.S. Joint Communiques, immediately cancel Nancy Pelosi’s plan to visit Taiwan, stop official interactions with Taiwan and fulfill its commitment of not supporting ‘Taiwan independence’ forces. If the U.S. insists on having its own way, China will take strong measures in response to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity. All possible consequences that arise from this will completely be borne by the U.S. side.”
